Such a pleasant stay! The hotel is beautiful. Very relaxing, awesome staff, the lady that checked us in was amazing and provided us all of the info we needed, they were so accommodating! They are Pet dog friendly as well which is a huge plus for us! We stayed in a corner King suite with an awesome city view to the main street. The room was very spacious, very clean and I mean really clean, comfy bed, plenty of windows and natural light! The complimentary breakfast was amazing! I wish they had cheese for the eggs freshly cooked eggs might I add, I hope that they add this soon. The ladies preparing breakfast were all so nice, they provided awesome service, I felt like I was at an actual restaurant. The muffins were delicious as well!! I only have very minor complaints. The vent for the air conditioner was right over the bed which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep for me. It took a while for the outside noise to subside; club music and loud cars driving by, so if you’re looking to relax you may want to stay away from the city view rooms. I can’t believe it took us so long to stay at this hotel, this is my number one choice moving forward! Can’t wait to book again!!
Wonderful experience! We stayed at the Element Detroit for the weekend when traveling to see a band at a local venue. The hotel is pet friendly which was the biggest plus for us we traveled with our dog. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean. Valet available for those with a car. Breakfast is provided each morning and it was delicious. Will definitely come back and stay during our next trip to Detroit!
As a platinum member my first stay at property and first ever element was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. The room large and comfortable. The rooftop bar was very nice too. An excellent stay. I’d recommend borrowing a hotel bike to cycle the waterfront to Belle Isle.
Absolutely Fabulous! My daughter and I stayed here when attending the Kool & the Gang show at the Music Hall. All of the staff were delightfully friendly and attentive, from the valets who parked our vehicle to the housekeeper that we met while leaving the next day. The room was spacious and clean, with a city view that allowed us to see the street below bustling with Friday night activities. The breakfast was quite impressive, and the staff made sure that our every need was met. The location is great, close to anything you'd like to see in the Detroit downtown area. There is a People Mover stop nearby if you would prefer not to walk. The front desk staff made us feel very welcome and valued. Stay at Element Detroit! You will not be disappointed.
While there isn't much space to unload, the valet team was fast and attentive. The front desk was friendly and efficient, even offering to help get our bikes up to our room. The rooms have great views and are well appointed, having a larger fridge is a real bonus when eating out downtown. Definitely recommend.Rooms: 4/5
Went to Detroit for a Tigers game. Hotel was great, full breakfast buffet included with lots of options. Room was clean and good size. Had safe, fridge and microwave. Rooftop bar was fabulous, for a table be sure to make a reservation. Conveniently located to walk to the local attractions. Felt very safe in the area. Valet was the only concern. We drove an expedition and they questioned the height and husband had to drive with them in case too tall. If your vehicle is over 6'5" then you will need to plan to self park and they can direct to another garage. Would definitely stay again.
Really great hotel in downtown Detroit. Spacious and comfortable rooms. They also have the absolute friendliest staff in all positions across the hotel. The free glass of wine when I arrived was a great bonus treat!
Great place with nice rooms and a good location. A little pricey but worth it for special occasions. Parking on site is 42 dollars per night. Be aware that there is also a VAT tax not included in the list price of the room.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful rooms. They upgraded our suite. They handled our parking from directly in front of the hotel. Very efficient. A short walk to many attractions. Hope to stay again with more time to spend in the area. Rooms: Beautiful. Modern. Nearby activities: Restaurants, food trucks, many venues for entertainment. Qline runs right to it every 15 minutes Walkability: Walking distance to so many things. Parks, venues, food. Great location. Hope to return for the holiday season
Wow! What a great spot in downtown Detroit. The location is perfect, very central and safe. The room exceeded expectations for spaciousness and while our view of a nearby building wasn't ideal, it was definitely a good place. Will stay again.Rooms: 5/5
