Elk City Taxidermy

RECOMMENDED!!! I found Elk City Taxidermy for my father, as his long time taxidermist finally hung up his coat. I am leaving this review on behalf of my father as he is in his 70's and anti technology. My father is an avid big game hunter....with I am guessing at least eight good size mule deer mounts, elk, caribou, bobcat, cougar, wolf, wolverine, sheep, etc. I only tell you that to provide assurance that his review is based upon 60+ years of successful hunting experience. He was very pleased with the taxidermy results of his latest mule deer mount that Elk City Taxidermy provided. He was describing to me what made it such a good mount, but I just don't know the lingo...I just know that he is happy with the results. I do recall that he was particularly impressed with the definition of the muscles in the neck....whatever that means. Whew! My neck was also on the line to find a good taxidermist, so thank you from me too! I have not personally seen it yet, so I am looking forward to visiting him to check it out. Our family is looking forward to doing business with Elk City Taxidermy again hopefully again this coming fall season. ~ Jennifer Smith
