I waited 3 months for an appointment. Told the office I wanted an "office visit." My insurance pays for office visits. I arrived this morning 09/09/2013 for my 10.15 AM appointment.and they said they had scheduled a "full physical" which is not covered by the insurance. I have to pay for a physical. I asked for it to be corrected since I don't really have much money. The office person who was Extremely rude told me to sign the blank screen on the signature pad agreeing that I am responsible for all charges. I asked her to confirm that I would only be responsible for a $15 co-pay and she told me that if I did not sign that " we refuse to see me today". Really???. How about a little patient concern?? I am speechless at the lack of care and respect. Your money is that important to you??? Your front office representatives are trained to behave like that??? Get on point Mr. Dr. Thomas. Same doctor who refused to renew my blood pressure meds when the script ran out unless I came to see him and self pay the office visit I did not need to have his "assistant" call in my $4 blood pressure meds. Really Mr. Dr. John Thomas??? If you are not aware then get aware. You need to go to people school and do some office management. Your comments and reaction are welcomed Mr. Dr. John Thomas.
