Elmcor Youth and Adult Activities

This is where I got my GED. honestly the teachers were phenomenal. Especially Mr. Lampty and Mrs. Williams they were two of the sweetest and realest teachers one can have. They provided the help we needed and additional tutoring after school if we wanted to stay back. Mrs. vorha on the other hand wasn’t a bad teacher she was just showing tough love I guess, she would always talk down on us. But it’s what pushed us to do better and show her that we can do it.

This place is total garbage. Some of the staff was dedicated and caring but a lot of staff were just shady. Left some of my electronics there and my counselor at the time told me they were in the safe & now I just called again and they conveniently "Don't keep things after 2 weeks" is what I was just told, even though my counselor assured me they were. How convenient.

I can here for muay tai championship fight. But the fans are unruly. Standing in front of seated people. no one in control to keep isles open. Terrible place for a event.

man I used to pay 25 a month to use their gym for boxing training which was ok being that any other gym charges way more even though they had pretty old/worn down equipment. but I just came back today to renew a membership and it went up to 50 and is only accessible from 4pm to 9pm which sucks . i tried to ask front desk woman for information on how to reapply and she gave me such an arrogant attitude must be hard to answer simple questions and greet folks into a building with professionalism. :P

Ms. Cho and Marlena are real life angels. I've never seen such care given to my daughter, but I can tell they really care and really want to help people get off the streets and back to life.
