Yorkville Youth Athletic Association

I've been coaching both my children for years and there is no better league or experience! From the time the kids were 6 to now 13, they have had a blast! Great organization, parent coached, full support throughout by Danny and Arlene and lots of memories for the children, which is what it's all about! By far, the best of the leagues available!

Manhattan can be a tough place for youth sports. Limited facilities and overscheduled kids (and parents) make it hard to put together teams and organize leagues. Yorkville (New York's largest youth sports organization) has a decades-long track record of success providing age-appropriate competition in more than a dozen sports from pre-K through high school. My own son enjoyed many seasons of travel baseball, travel basketball and flag football; today, he attends college paid for, in part, by a baseball scholarship. Without Yorkville's coaches and program organization he would not have had the opportunity to play multiple sports on a regular basis, discover and develop his talent and make friends he has kept to this day. Whether your child is looking for recreational, developmental or competitive travel programs, you need to check out what Yorkville has to offer.

My entire family and I have found the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association to be an incredible program with great and competitive rec leagues for kids ages 6 to 18. Both my daughter and son have participated since the 2nd grade in basketball, baseball, tennis, even drama……and they’ve loved every minute of it. They have made so many friendships through Yorkville, including some of their best friends today. The programs are extremely organized, well run and the coaches and directors always put the kids first and make it fun for everyone. Due to my basketball background, I got involved with coaching both my daughter and son’s teams, which has been extremely rewarding. And my wife loves coming to the games to watch everyone play. The parent community is great and supportive. It’s one of the best youth sports programs in NYC. They make it a real community feeling. In a word…...Yorkville is “awesome”! Ernie R

This league is phenomenal and provides an outlet for all of us parents on the mid/upper east side (and elsewhere in Manhattan who are willing to travel). It provides all of the benefits of a suburban "little league" across sports, in Manhattan which is not easy. They start at young levels and are capable of training kids at all skill levels, and all ages. They have unparalleled access to fields and gyms. The parent community is also great as it attracts families who are looking for similar activities for their children, run a certain way. Lastly, every season/sport/event is an amazing value compared to other semi-similar programs (there is nothing similar).

Great athletic programs and instruction for Manhattan kids. Both my sons have been playing soccer and baseball with Yorkville their whole lives and they love it. Coach Matt for soccer is the man!
