Elysee Med Spa

I purchased a groupon for a tattoo removal service, this is one groupon I regret to have purchased. I called to set up my first appointment and on the day of my appointment, I received a text from Laura Miles stating that she could not see me because she had strep throat. Understandably i told her i was perfectly ok with that and I hoped she got better. She responded and texted that my appointment was being rescheduled to the following tuesday at 6PM. On tuesday, I texted Laura to confirm my appointment time , i received no response from her. I assumed that everything was ok since I didnt receive any text canceling my appointment. I live in Centrville va, which is a long ways to get to this place. I arrived to my appointment time to find the office closed. An asian girl came to the door and signaled to me that they were closed and to go around the other way and meet her at the other side from the inside. I gfo inside and she didnt come to the door. I stood their knocking at the door until an older lady answered the door. She told me she was part of the medical side of the spa and has nothing to do with the spa side, but she would try to contact the owner to see what could be done she had me seated and i waited. She came back and she said sorry, thier isnt anyone that can see you, i hope this doesnt ruin your new year. I will have someone from management contact you. Here it is Thursday and i have yet to receive a call from anyone. This is absolutely rediculous. Dont come here!

I have been calling, emailing, and leaving messages for 4 days just trying to schedule a small tattoo removal using the groupon I purchases. I wish I had seen the earlier review. Now I am going to file a complaint and request my money back. What a sham!

I had a very nice visit today at Elysee Med Spa for microdermabrasion and Tripollar treatments. The office and spa rooms are exceptional, the reception staff are very courteous and professional and Rafaella (medical aesthetician) was extremely pleasant and thoroughly knowledgeable. I appreciate being able to use my aged package sessions after all. Thank you.

Management issues... pros: the new machine for laser hair removal actually works the office is nice and they usually have pretty decent sales promos cons: management has changed like 2-3 times in the past 3-4 years I've been going there started off to a rocky start when the original manager lied to me so I was suckered in then after my 6 sessions were over I said I'm not going back but few months later I needed to go for a session and they were my last option but my fist few options were booked so I said fine I'll give them a try for a single session which worked ... things went fine ... The other issue is they have like 4-5 technicians working the laser so you can request one if you like but if the schedule doesn't work you can choose from another one ... The con there is no consistency ... The other con is their very salesy I mean yea it's a business but I shouldn't really feel that every business is there to sell but these ppl just seem commissioned individually at times like how many of your clients you can up sell... I'm in sales so I can feel it it feels like there's one owner who has managers and commissioned aesthetician with a base pay ... and there's miscommunication at times where what they say on the phone is not what it is when you walk in I've had that happen 4 times in the past 3 years I've been going some ppl think that would be a lot some would think not bad but i did not enjoy driving there then being told something else and them as a inconvenience offering a little bit better package i don't want at twice the cost ... i came in for what i came in for that's it they lied over the phone and expect me to tryst them to buy again ? ... just buy with caution from them... I'm just looking around at this point a bit disappointed after having high low moments
