Long time bar, restaurant in the Old Town district. Great service and atmosphere. The hamburger had apparently been pre cooked, as it wasn't piping hot. I was there on half price burger night, so that would explain it.Food: 3/5
Went on a Tuesday evening. Sat at the bar. Bartender seemed rushed, but wasn't busy. Guy next to us said to order fried noodles as a side. The noodles did not disappoint! Tacos didn't have much meat, but the fried flour shell was yummy. Place seemed like a good place to watch games. Would visit again.Food: 4/5
I didn't realize I had to be frisked after paying a cover charge to get a seat on a weekend night in a restaurant. Service was slow and I understand it was busy but not so busy she was overwhelmed. The burgers were good but the wait was so long that anything after an hour seemed like a gift from heaven. I took a long look around waiting on the bill that I have this place memorized so I won't feel nostalgic and return.
Honestly very upset, we always dine in or carryout on wing Wednesdays. The order is ALWAYS the same 12 cajun wings all flats extra crispy. Well I guess today they heard extra not cooked and this is what I got. Very disappointed probably won’t be back until a very long time.
My boyfriend and I went in for a quick bite before meeting up with friends. We walked in and sat at a booth in the middle of the place. We sat for a good 10 minutes while making eye contact with multiple servers, one who was even serving a group on the raised platform. No one said a word to us. We moved up to the bar and got taken care of there. Having been a server before, I know it takes 2 seconds to alert the server on shift that there's a table incase they hadn't seen them. Our bartender was great and we were well taken care of. But we almost walked out because clearly the others didn't care at all that a customer was in the establishment! Do better.
I ordered the fried tacos...yum yum. Take a good appetite. Order a tall Guinness, served just right. Price was right also, 1/2 price Wednesday. Co worker ordered the double hamburger, boy howdy did it look good, really need a big appetite for that meal. Our waitress was super. Only downside was the sound system was pretty load so conversation was a little elevated...lol, but not really an issue for our group.
The service at Emerson Biggins was quite good, very friendly and super attentive. The beer was cold, the mugs were tall and repeat buy worthy were those fried pickles and hand battered onion rings. If you want to enjoy an Emerson Biggins burger, I would recommend doing so on Tuesdays, they have a half price special.
Good food, had the "eb" burger. Only complaint with the for was the egg was over cooked. little on the pricier side for lunch, tons of TV's with sporting events on. Depending on the time, not much parking Parking: City parking lot shared with a lot of other businesses and only 2hr parking
Really good food and friendly serviceFood: 5/5
Emerson Biggin’s knows how to make a burger! The Hickory Western Burger is absolutely amazing. The beef and bacon were cooked perfectly. The onion ring was battered and fried to perfection. The bun was buttered and toasted just right. Top that all off with shredded cheddar cheese and sweet BBQ and you have an amazing burger! The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and attentive. My drink never hit less then 1/3 full and my table’s order which was fairly complex came out perfectly.
