[Updated 11/11/22] - finally got a lace sample no fabric though. The owner agreed to send this back to be 'investigated' either because of something that was done by the preservers or issue with the dress itself ??not sure why this would be. I was told that if this was found to be problems from the preservation process then I would be reimbursed from the insurance not clear on how much. This is more productive but they still insisted that it never happened before. While this may be true, it does not help me. The lace both from the veil and from sample fabric shows a different color than those on the dress. [Original] Got this through personal recommendation to clean and preserve my wedding dress and veil. Took 6 wks which is ok since I was told that in advance. The silk liner color changed from rose petal pink to champagne light brown and lace from ivory to white. The liner also shrunk and now has a 6" shorter than the lace. I took it back and opened the box at the shop. The owner insisted that in all the years it never happened before well this would be the first then. He asked for a swatch of original dress as he said the color from the photos are not always accurate which I agreed. So I'm getting that mailed from the designer. He offered a refund which would only be a fraction of the cost of the dress! I included the photo of the dress next to the veil to show that the lace color has dramatically changed. The length of the liner as much shorter that photo was backlit so it looked pink. 2 other photos came from the wedding day in day light to show color and length. Will update with photos of the dress next to the sample swatch.

Friendly, convenient, and affordable. Owner found a tie in my suit pocket & pressed it free of charge. Edit 2/15/23: 6 months later they continue to provide excellent service even on short notice. Cannot recommend them enough, far and away the best cleaner in the area.

I’ve been doing business with Emerson since I moved here in 1985. Alterations & cleaning are always spot on! This family business was run by Stan & his wife, remarkably kind & honest folks. If u left so much as a nickel in ur pocket an envelope w/ ur nickel in it would be attached to ur clothing. Over the years they have generously supported the community. Exceptional service. I feel that the benchmark for a Google 5-star review seems to be "up-to-par" quality, but Emerson goes beyond with great customer service.

Absolutely love this guy. Not only does he have the best memory he is friendly , the staff is and their work is awesome from sewing to stains.
