Empire Sports Bar

This was the one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. We went to this sports bar on a Sunday night to enjoy game 7 of the eastern conference finals. So of course anyone with sense would know that it would be a busy night and to staff accordingly. There were 4 waitresses in the whole restaurant and 2 cooks with about 75-100 people as guests. We arrived early before the game started in order to get a good seat. We placed our order before the first quarter started and never received food the entire game. When this was brought to the managers attention he said he would take the food off our bill. Well Duh!!! There was never food brought to us so how can you charge us for something we never received. It took an hour for us to receive our drink order (our waiter forgot our drinks so we had to place the order again). This place is an absolute disgrace and I would not be at all surprised if it didn't last the year.

BEWARE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I've visited this location multiple times and there is no difference in the service you receive on a busy or slow night. They always appear under staffed and it will take an unreasonable amount of time for you to receive your food. On my last and final visit on June 27th I experienced the worst service ever. In a 3hr timeframe our waitress never took our food order, we had to go to the bar to order drinks, and our waitress Felecia ignored us the full time there. After flagging Felecia down she became confrontational instead of deescalating the situation. On a prior occasion I brought this issue up of the slow service to manager and at this point I don't feel as though they find it serious enough to improve. This place needs to be shut down and come back under new management. They need a completely new staff. I hate to see African American establishment with so much potential take advantage of their patrons & give them bottom of the barrel service as if they don't deserve better. Based off the reviews everyone seems to of had the same poor customer service experience. Your patrons deserve more respect, if you're not gonna do that and require more from your staff why be in business???

It was movie night on 5/1 at Studio Movie Grill. Rather than eat at the movies it was decided to eat 'after' the movie. Arrived at Empire around 9:30pm and left at 9:35pm. The place was empty but that didn't stop us. Sat at the bar and observed...not 1 but 3 employees behind the bar in the far corner near the Hookah machine. 1 employee was on her cell phone and the other 2 employees in chit-chat. Did anyone see us when we arrived...of course they did. There was a 4th employee who passed by where we were seat but did not stop. I guess the few dirty dishes that weren't removed should have been a tell-tale sign. We walked out with no service at 9:35pm. Message to the owners -- you need to be on site to know what staff is not doing. I don't look for this place to last.

This was my first time here. I wanted to give this establishment 5 star rating. However, the service was extremely slow. We had to cancel our second round our drinks because it was past midnight and our drinks still has not come after 30 minutes. Our waitress was awesome and she profusely apologized for the service.

I Love This Bar when I first seen it I couldn't believe my eyes this is a place to go and enjoy a good nice drink and enjoy the night very good customer service and the bartender is right on time so I really like it and it is a place that I would always take my people to enjoy shooting pools playing games watching TV and all of that all in one relaxation and enjoy the moment thank you all
