Darian was awesome. Explained everything well and gave a great experience. Be sure to get to your reservation early since you have to park on the third floor of the parking garage and take the elevator down.
Friendly employees and solid cars! I use this location for work frequently and always drive a nice car and they even waived roadside assistance when I had a flat tire. Thanks :
Service was great.. the vehicle..not so much. $700+ for weekly van and it was in ok condition I guess, no way to connect Bluetooth unless aix cable.
Awful...made a reservation and was told besides the quote rate it would be an extra $300 deposit. I asked the lady the if the rate was the same as listed when I made my reservation and asked the total amount all together to confirm between us what I was paying for. She swipes my card to tell me it was declined and I couldn't try with the same card after one attempt. So I checked my balance and told her I had enough and the amount so why was it declined? She tells me then that the total would be almost 20 dollars more than what she said previously and she didn't even acknowledge her mistake.
The staff was very kind and patient. The service was good and I got the car I wanted. I will definitely rent from here again. I wish they were open on Sundays. It would be much more convenient.
I rent a car for one week, their service is perfect! The staff is very hospitality and helpful! The car is awesome! I will rent a car at here again in the future!
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car in downtown Columbia SC offers a convenient location, however customer service is not up to enterprise Rent-A-Car standards. Trying to reduce labor there was only one person working I waited 20 minutes for help. The code given for the parking garage entrance on Washington Street was incorrect did not work either time trying. Customer service worker did not clearly explain how to exit the parking garage back to enterprise Rent-A-Car. The car only had a quarter tank of gas . On a positive note the car was very clean handled well and made the visit a positive experience.
I made a reservation on 5/23/17 to pick up a vehicle on 5/26/17 @ 6:00pm. I called twice on 5/26 to verify that I would be able to pick up the vehicle between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Both times that I called the person who picked up advised me that I would be able to pick up and not to worry. The last time I called I spoke with Anastasia who told me that they close at 6pm and that she would check with her manager to see what they could do. Needless to say she put me on hold for 1.5 seconds came back and said that I would have to go to the airport. I work in customer service and our goal is customer experience. Apparently this is not your goal. I would have appreciated if the manager would have called the location at the airport to see if they could accommodate me, that did not happen. I called the airport location and of course on this good memorial day weekend there were no vehicles available. I really wish I could have had a better experience. I will not hold this against Enterprise as a whole. The Assembly street location needs to train their agents and manager on providing a better customer experience. Have a great memorial day weekend!!
Jay, one of the leasing agents, was so friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience. Answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I had a smooth experience. Quick and easy pickup and drop off and they offered me a ride after I dropped of the car!
The manager Will is always very courteous and professional. He didn't have the vehicle I requested so upgraded me at no extra cost. The total cost for the vehicle was VERY economical. My only complaint is the air pressure in the tires was not consistent...one tire was 7 lbs lower than the others, so I had to stop at another Enterprise location to get the air pressure in the tires right.
