You currently need proof of vaccination to not wear a mask. Small, unique theatre. Very cozy atmosphere. Came for NerdNite. Totally recommend!! Can’t beat $5 drinks.
Great theater just west of RiNo off 25. I came here for a comedy event, and didn’t realize how full the calendar stays! There’s a side bar with beers and seltzers, as well as some great snacks and candy. Staff is super friendly, the sound is stellar and the space was clean : can’t ask for much more!
How have I not reviewed this place yet? It's the best. It's one of the coolest venues in Denver. It's unique, inviting, and affordable. We attended the 48 hour film festival this year and it wasna blast. If you're looking for a venue with community to go along with it, this is one of those places.
Friendly staff. Old style theater with lots of old charm. Just don't bring glitter
What an amazing night at the Emerging Filmmakers Project! Great Theatre with a vibe that goes back many moons!!!
Very unique experience! Was out visiting colleges with my daughter, met up with two of my sons who were working out there. We came in after dinner across the street from Acova great food just to check it out. We sat in back and were in hysterics in seconds. Major bonding with my kids. I left my jean jacket. I live in Boston...called left a message and thought that was the end if it. Got a call back and the manager sent it back. Unusual, special and amazing!!! Class act. Must check this place out.
This theater is pretty wheelchair accessible. No steps, but the incline in the theater is significant. There's a wheelchair seating area halfway down at the end of a row. The entrance has wide doorways, and there is an ADA compliant bathroom. Staff were helpful.
An authentic local alternative theater, with a Monday-night "open mike" session that attracts serious, sardonic, and comic 5-minute segments. Only $5 admission. Impressive COVID safety compliance in place as of late October. One free house draft beer included on our visit; wine etc just $5. Up to 12 performers can sign up, first-come, online.
A fun, small, historic theater that presents out-of-the-ordinary live comedic theater and film. Travel back to 1950 by sitting in one of the 200 old lumpy seats after you visit the small concession stand for popcorn and a can of beer or cup of wine. Keep groovy art alive!
Unfortunately, our party of 5 was refused entry because we did not have copies of vaccination cards with us. We bought tickets weeks ahead of time and this policy was not disclosed at that time, nor were we informed when their policy changed. We really hoped to see the show but we're treated so rudely, we will never go back. Severely disappointing!
