Lovely new pop-up restaurant inside Dame. Everything is fresh, seasonal, and made with love. Our meal was outstanding - Definitely worth a visit. Cant wait to come back for more!
As always, Chef McKee has provided my wife and I another memorable dining experience! I mean, we ordered 3 of the 4 desserts, and had a second serving of the Ricotta Doughnuts: And that was after dinner! Seriously, the food they are crafting and creating each night is well seasoned, properly proportioned and reasonably priced. The same as when we first tried his food at Perlot. When we tried to reserve a table and go back for the Osso Bucco!, they had just closed the doors that day. I don't write reviews often, but it's really worth the trip to check out what they are doing at Estes. Thanks, again, Chef Patrick!
This is the most under the radar spot presently in Portland. If you know the lineage and talent of Patrick McKee then this should be no surprise. This was the second visit that only reinforced the beauty and subtle developed flavors Patrick endows into his food. Well balanced, complex yet light and hearty at the same time that doesn't overwhelm and still makes you feel well loved and comforted. Exactly as Chef McKee is, his food is. Go now but don't be surprised the reservations are full.
