The Village Vet, and Dr. Berry, are by far the most comprehensive, hands-on, and thorough veterinarian I have ever taken my cats to visit. Dr. Berry dedicates time to you and your pet, never makes it seem like a rush, and talks you through his examination the entire time. I always know that I am getting my moneys worth with every visit, and confident that my pets' health is in good hands.
The Village Vet is now my Cane Corso’s new vet. Dr Shultz is awesome. He’s kind patience, friendly and genuinely loves animals. The entire staff is amazing. I couldn’t be happier. My prior vet was to expensive and the doctor didn’t want me in the room while treating my puppy. I don’t like that. Dr. Schultz is entirely different.
If it were not for this place my cat would probably not be sitting on my lap right now. I am incredibly grateful for the staff here, they were all very personable and I always felt like I was talking to someone who really cared. It felt like they were going above and beyond to help my cat and whenever I had questions or concerns they were just a brief call away. Thank you :
Switched Chester to these guys about 2 years ago. Always a friendly group at the front counter and the tech's are knowledgeable!! My cat was having digestive issues I guess and fur-ball vomiting was getting annoying. They recommended a specific cat food and life is good!!! Kendall, for the record, is top-notch. Love coming here.
My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Village Vet. Our dog, Hazel, is by far one of the biggest drama queens any vet has ever seen putting it lightly. She is so afraid of being closely handled by strangers that she requires a ton of patience and sedatives. Every single person – from the techs, to the vets, to the front desk staff – has demonstrated tremendous patience and understanding with us each time we've visited Village Vet, including during the height of the pandemic at which point social distancing added yet another layer of challenges with navigating our dog. This morning's appointment somehow surpassed our previous wonderful experiences. I'm not sure if Dr. Gaines is new, as we hadn't worked with him before, but he was PHENOMENAL. He was so patient and he clearly genuinely cares for his patients and their parents!. We wound up quite unexpectedly taking up Dr. Gaines' entire morning, and yet he never showed frustration, etc. He and the techs whose names I didn't catch but who deserve just as much kudos and gratitude were all so wonderful, too, about sharing new ideas for how to tackle Hazel's paralyzing fear of vet appointments. Even the front desk staff took time to chat with me about our dog, understanding that she's a sweetie but she's just a big ole scaredy cat when it comes to being in the office. I'm sure this vet is just all around great, but if you happen to have a "problem" furbaby, I really can't recommend Village Vet enough. I wish I could give the entire team a hug today.
Great vet! Clean and welcoming facility, friendly and helpful staff, and nice doctor! Took my cat here to resolve/find a solution to urinary issues. Dr. S careful and thoroughly explained possible reasons and potential outcomes of issue. We decided on prescription food as long term treatment as well as pain medicine for short term solution. Thank you!
I've had nothing but great experiences with this vet. They are kind, helpful, and thorough. Today when I took my cat in for her annual visit we arrived a little early, were taken back immediately, and I think we were done and leaving the office within 5 minutes of our actual appointment time. I was doing this with a 9 month old baby in tow--and the staff members were super helpful! A few months ago we had to put our dog to sleep and the Village Vet did a house call for it. They were so kind and supportive during that very difficult visit. We were so grateful to have the opportunity for our dog's last moments to be in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by loving people and a peaceful environment. Great work, Village Vet!
