This is my first review in a while, as I’ve been gone traveling and taking a break from social media! My girlfriend and I wanted to try a new brunch spot in the area, and I’ve driven/walked/passed by this place quite often it’s been in the area for a while, so I took it upon myself to give it a try. The quality of the food is certainly *good*, paired with really good flavors! We genuinely enjoyed our dishes and were beyond satisfied we couldn’t get through more than half of our breakfast pizza. Im taking one star away for cleanliness. We were some of the first people to be seated for brunch, which is when the restaurant opens for business. When we sat down, we discovered that our table was sticky and had been covered in some sort of dried up food residue. Neither our bread plates nor the silverware was clean. Im removing another star for service, as it was certainly lackluster. Imagine walking into a Bistro for brunch and not being able to order any espresso drinks as they haven’t even turned the machine on yet! It took several attempts to get our silverware swapped out, having to flag and wave people down to catch their attention in a mostly empty restaurant mind you. The final straw was when it took about 20 minutes to get our check when we wanted to leave. Unfortunately, until these issues are amended, I don’t see myself coming back. Which is a shame, because I really wanted to like this place, as it seems like a really decent spot for brunch and dinner! If you do end up coming here for brunch, do try the salmon crostini and the breakfast pizza :
The food, the service and the atmosphere was amazing! The portions were perfect. And the drinks were tasty and satisfying. I don't have anything negative to say. My family and I enjoyed the experience. You have to go check it out.
We loved this place! The food was very good and the presentation was also really well done. We have the calamari, short rib entree, scallops entree, and the bread pudding and we were not disappointed. This is a great date night place with an extensive martini menu.
Came here for brunch and just made the cut off as they switch their menu over the regular dinner menu. I had the best breakfast pizza I have ever had here. It was perfectly crispy just the way I like to eat pizza. The secret ingredient that really elevated this dish for me was hollandaise as a pizza base. Phenomenal! I also had a side of sweet potatoe fries and those were cooked very well as well.
Exchange Bistro was phenomenal! They were so professional with customer service on point. We were celebrating my nieces birthday 16th birthday. They have a private function room which allowed our family to make it a surprise party. The food was delicious! My sister ordered several food choices for the guest including a chicken & pesto fusilli as well as shrimp linguine pasta. After the party was over we stayed at the main area on the restaurant to continue to enjoy the place with our family and friends. I highly recommend Exchange Bistro.
Excellent atmosphere and a generous menu with food and friendly staff to match. The restaurant may be a bit hard to spot given its reserved exterior look for the big wooden door with the steel handle, but it opens up to a well decorated interior. The portions are generous and well played and the drinks are numerous and well thought out. I tried the short rib and an apple mule to fit the season. Definitely finish it off with one of their coffee desserts. Update 2/13/22: The shortrib is as great as it has been in the past and pairs excellently with the mushroom ravioli they're currently serving. The filling is similar to the one used in duxelles and tastes great
I made a reservation at 8:45PM for my mom's birthday. We were late because she gets off work at 9PM, but they kept the kitchen open and accomodated for us. They wait staff and hostesses were so kind. The food was delicious. Overall, great place!
Fantastic food & great service! Always have a delicious meal here.Food: 5/5
This was definitely a great experience. We had the baked haddock with lobster risotto and the braised short rib with wild mushroom ravioli. They were both cooked perfectly. The braised short ribs were tender and came right apart. The haddock was not dry or overcooked at all. The risotto was creamy and flavorful. We also had a strawberry chocolate martini and a pistachio martini, both were amazing. We can’t wait to go back.
Normally I think this place is pretty good, but it had a really rough brunch experience and I feel obligated to review it. I ordered chicken and waffles and my date ordered Eggs Benedict. What I ended up receiving however was just the normal waffles. I don't mind the ordering mishap, but I was still charged for the dish. Also both orders were room temperature, bordering on cool. I've been here maybe 3 or 4 times before and was unpleasantly surprised at this visit. Hopefully it's not indicative of a trend.
