Exotic Grill African Cuisine

We had an office party that I had volunteered to get something exotic in order to spice up the pot luck. It had slipped my mind until the last minute, however, and I remembered that I wanted to get Nigerian food from here based on the reviews I had seen, as well as its proximity to the office. It was 15 minutes to closing time, so I had just managed to get in to place my order, not knowing that the place wasn't open until 4 PM. I told them the time I wanted to pick up (lunchtime), but was informed that they would not be open at that time. However, the owner, who had picked up the phone to hear me out, gave me her cell phone number and promised to deliver in the sweetest accent I had ever heard. We agreed on a time to meet in the late morning when she could be free and I would be available for pickup. I honestly never expected to see her actually here. I thought that I would be forced to find something else at the last minute. But, lo and behold, she was inside, ready to let me in and pick up the batch of samosa I ordered the previous night. It was DELICIOUS, by the way. Total hit with the coworkers. I have never met an owner more generous with her time and understanding of my situation. The food is delicious and decently priced. This was my first time trying African food in general, but I can say unequivocally that the service here has set my expectations extremely high for future experiences with the cuisine 10 out of 5 for the Exotic Grill!!! Consider me a loyal customer. And next time, I won't show up four hours before actual opening time.

All that I can say is... Wonderful!!! Ms. Marie... My Family Loved the entire meal... Stopped by after a long day at work.. The customer service was excellent.. Dining room spotless.. And the food!!!?? Outstanding. Freshly prepared with a loving touch. We ordered Tilapia, Goat, Jollof Rice, Spinach, and Plantain. Tender and Tasty. Thank you Ms. Marie. I shall return. Lovely spot for authentic African cuisine. Family owned and operated. Top notch cooking with warm friendly staff. Love it!

The food is fabulous very authentic. The service is great as well. You will never find a kinder owner!!!! She makes the place what it is.
