For over 30 years, this venue has hosted artists of all sizes and genres. Even though it has frequently changed ownership originally the LC Pavilion, then Express Live it remains one of the best venues for live music in Columbus. It has three stages, indoor, outdoor, and festival. The outdoor stage is my favorite, with a sprawling lawn in an amphitheater shape and a great view of the Columbus skyline. Inside is a bit more intimate, with a cool balcony for a better view. Grab a 24oz Bud Lite and some Mikey's Late Night Slice and enjoy the show!
I sort of assumed this was going to be an outdoor venue and we were a bit confused when entering because they had us enter through A&R bar, but it was nice and the sound was good. I spent most of my time down in the pit but their drinks were also good and fairly reasonably priced for being at a show. It was also super nice to have a parking lot directly behind the venue
I went to the Noah Kahan concert here last week. It was a decent site for a show. It’s a general admission venue with almost all standing room and very limited seating. It was difficult to see all that well. We were on the second level about five people deep. The sound and lighting was good. The location is convenient with a number of places to eat within walking distance. If you go and want to be able to see I would suggest getting there early.
It is a great place for concerts and events. I attended the Highball Halloween here and it was super fun. It is spacious and has plenty of sitting space as well. The stage is quite big to accommodate large groups. My experience was really good here. Lots of space to set up food counters as well. So it is overall a great place for parties, concerts, and big events.
Great venue to catch an outdoor concert in Columbus, it's one of the rare locations that offers both an indoor and also an outdoor concert setting. You always have a good view from the lawn during the summer/spring and early fall when concerts are outside and then they have events and concerts inside. They offer plenty of seating and standing room to watch.
This is one of the coolest venues ever. The outdoor venue in particular is unlike any I've been to. Big enough to hold plenty of people but still small enough to feel intimate. Inside venue is great as well
Had another awesome time and Kemba Live. We saw Dave Matthews who was campaigning for Tim Ryan. The venue has a great vibe and there are no bad “seats” in the house. They have both indoor smaller and outdoor larger stages. I’ve seen concerts at both and much prefer the outdoor space, which sounds amazing and has a good view of the skyscrapers downtown. They have a good variety of concessions including Mikey’s Late Night Slice. Entering and exiting is a breeze with plenty of nearby parking and Uber/Lyft quick pickup and drop off even during prime events concerts, Clippers, CREW, CBJ, etc.
The Rezz show was amazing! The venue was great and staff was very friendly and helpful as well! Best spot is upstairs at center. Great view and usually less crowded. It is such a plus that they have a bar and bathrooms upstairs as well.
Great place for a concert! However, the line situation outside could be better. Very unorganized. No one knew where to stand for VIP or the quick pass.
Great location, very clean and accommodating. Staff was a little rude throughout the night but the experience wasn't ruined by that. Will be back for another concert maybe when it's outside.
