Their Staff was very Friendly. No complaints about the front desk. I was not too fond of the location. The room was clean, with No smell, but old. They do not have breakfast. They have some cookies on a tray at the front door in the morning. They call it breakfast. The Hallway to the room smells awful.
The bathroom leaves room for improvement and the water pressure is practically non-existent, but the rooms were very clean and clutter-free. It's kinda noisy being right on the interstate, but inside is well insulated and it can actually be forgotten how close the highway is. The elevators were broken during our stay and made me grateful we were only on the second floor. There's an Academy sports store and a Mexican restaurant in the plaza next door- within walking distance.
Everyone I've spoken with has been extremely friendly and very helpful. I wasn't a big fan of how humid my room was or the breakfast options, but it was a nice place to stay. They were very accommodating with my odd requests and I'm so glad I stayed :Rooms: 4/5
I had to purchase a broom for the room. Per the front desk personal,"We don't have any brooms." The elevator was broken for 64 days. That was my stay period. The stove burner was out for 2 days and the maintenance person that fixed it, left sawdust all over the stove, sink and floor. The pictures show how the stove and area was left by the maintenance person. I was lied to by the front desk personal and had to make an additional trip back to the hotel to pay. I checked out with the front desk and that didn't matter. If I was trying to skip out without paying, I would not have checked out and turned the room keys in.
I am an MD Anderson lung cancer patient and had the opportunity to stay at Extended Stay America in Houston, TX at 2330 Southwest Fwy, courtesy of American Cancer Society. To note: Recently I completed chemotherapy and am now doing radiation treatments. Since I don’t live locally, to accommodate the 35 radiation treatments, five days a week, I had to temporarily relocate. I question whether the American Cancer Society knew where they were offering me lodging. I STRONGLY would not recommend this establish for people in my condition! On top of being old and moldy smelling, the room was FILTHY! The bell cart was not functional and should be rendered as garbage. Instead of it rolling on its wheels I had to push it, painstakingly, all the way to and from my car. The two front desk agents refused to help; because of “policy.” I can go on… but I’ll just say, I booked for five nights and left the next day! I would have left immediately but the bell cart discouraged me.
I was there for one night haha refusing the name. At about 3:30 AM we were woken up by the person right in front of our room, screaming "HELP THERE'S SOMEONE IN MY ROOM AÀAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" There was no one. After, he was just standing in the hall, naked, after he locked himself out. My mom called the cops and they let him get dressed and kicked him out. The next day they escorted him to his room to get his stuff and leave. It was hard to sleep after that. And when we got to the other hotel we were going to, we joked about it saying "I hope no one screams." Somehow my brother didn't wake up when the scream happened.
Had my catalytic converter stolen off my truck in broad daylight while I was inside sleeping. They have no cameras in the parking lot and no security, I was parked right in front of the main lobby as well. The bathroom smelled like cigarettes too. This place is ghetto, please stay somewhere else.Rooms: 3/5
Front desk clerk Jandianot certain of spelling was great. We own a large moving company in where the challenge is to get guys in hotels rooms while traveling. She was extremity helpful Thanks
This was awful . I had the worst experience here at this extended stay, half the lights didn’t work in the room , the remote didn’t work to the tv . The staff didn’t inform us the water was off so therefore I couldn’t brush my teeth or wash my face let alone shower . The furniture was scratched up badly . At 5 am there was a guy in the hall banging on the door telling someone to open up then I heard a small knock on my door . I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and before you say you hope I would give y’all a chance again the answer is NO I absolutely wouldn’t at all.
This was my fault and here’s why. Make sure you ask for kitchen supplies when you stay at this hotel. We went to Dollar General to get a pan, spatula, dish soap and a brush. I didn’t notice that they had kitchen supplies until the last day of our stay when I had read the slide on TV. The right side of the stove was not working properly as well as the shower. Only the left side the small burner was working right. Took some time for the water to boil. My boyfriend had to jam something up the tub spout for the water to come out of the shower head. We enjoyed our 6 day stay at Extended Stay.
