Every time I go they are friendly and professional! I always get great glasses and excellent service! Highly recommend

I love the drs but the office manager and some of the front desk are unbelievably rude. When a billing concern came up I was completely degraded by the office manager when I stated I didn’t know about a part of the exam done for my daughters contacts as I do not need them. I told her the extra $50 I was not expecting is something that should be voiced before the appointment as I am on a single income and budgeting is key. That extra threw off the payment of my bills. I was talked down to as though because I shared my financial concerns I was less then and talked to like I am stupid. I will never be returning. If you need any type of heads up due to your financial standing do NOT visit this office. I’ve never been treated this way by a “professional”.

I highly recommend Eyecare of Ankeny. Dr. Schroder and the rest of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this practice!

My family has been going to Eyecare Associates for years, for all of our vision care needs. My daughter has wore glasses since she was 18 months old and is now 24. Originally we just purchased her glasses here. When she was 12 we decided to try contacts. The entire experience was and has been successful. They became my doctor of choice for myself as well. The appointments have always been on time, all the staff very courteous, helpful and very pleasant to work with. No high pressure to purchase glasses and / or contacts. They have also offered Saturday morning hours for a couple of years now. That works out great in my busy schedule of juggling two jobs. Can you tell that I think this place should be your choice for all of your eye care needs? Thank you to the entire staff.

Hands down the best office support staff in Ankeny. From the front desk to the optometry assistants to the specialists in the eyeglass section, each one I’ve encountered has gone over and beyond in making my experience easy and enjoyable. The Doctors are great, but the support staff are who make this clinic my forever go to for me and my family

The best place! Been coming here for years. Tremendous help for my husband’s eyes and mine. Wonderful staff. Gets your bifocals done right the first time. They help you pick out the perfect frames. Exceptional service. Highly recommend.

I called the Ankeny office yesterday with a sudden onset of blurred vision. Dr. Schroeder knew of my cancer history and performed the appropriate tests. The support staff are skilled and the entire team provides care and compassion. My family have been patients since 1988 with no plans to change! JMc

I have always felt this office had quality staff and doctors. They are very polite and professional. But this weekend solidified that I will be a forever client. Dr Schroder goes above and beyond for his patients. I called the office because I thought I was experiencing a retinal detachment. Very scary! I called the after hour number for emergencies and Dr. Schroder called me back promptly and met me and my husband on Thanksgiving day at 7:00 am! It was clear that the health of my eye was his priority. He did not rush the exam at all! He even told me to call back any time over the holiday-if I notice any changes in my vision. If you are looking for professionals who really care, this is the place.

I really appreciated being able to get an appointment so quickly when I was having problems with my eyes. My exam was extremely thorough, addressing not only my vision needs, but the health of my eyes as well. Dr. Kahnk took time to explain my diagnosis by showing me pictures and describing a reasonable plan to manage the problem. I felt that he cared for me as his patient, not as just another appointment. The assistant was knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and knowledgeable about insurance and medicare. I definitely plan to continue my care here and will recommend Eyecare Associates of Ankeny to family and friends. I give a sincere "Thank you" to Dr. Kahnk and his staff.

I am so happy I found Eyecare Associates. They are very professional and care about Your needs. I recently received contacts for the 1st time. They were very patient with helping me put in the contacts and continued until I was comfortable on my own. I have not been able to see this good in years! I took my daughter would is 8 to another eye Dr about a year ago, because she complained of words being blurry. They told me she had perfect vision. I took her to Eycare and yes she needed glasses! Can't thank you enough!
