So hard to rate so low but finally got to try it out and sadly disappointed! $7 for a kosher pita falafel? Higher than Manhattan prices. Service was off. Very nice young lady behind the counter but seemed disconnected to customers needs like mine to get going! It took a while to get the pita and I was in a rush. It was tasty and filling but I don't think I'll be back.
For starters, they serve freshly fried falafel which makes them more scrumptious to eat. In addition to their specialty, I tried out their sandwiches which were equally amazing and unique in taste. I think the perfect mix of different vegetables and the traditional Arabic sauce thingy, hummus, made the sandwiches even more amazing! All in all, everything was on point in my opinion. Definitely worth a try!
First time visit to the Falafel Spot and i will simply say Outstanding... Ordered the Falafel Sandwich, Veggie Salad Plate and Hummus Plate. Every thing was SPOT ON.. Perfect Seasoning, Perfect Presentation. Friendly staff. I'm a happy man right now!
I spoke with the manager regarding a previous order and therefore feel compelled to update my review since the manager was reasonable in rectifying the situation. All I can say is that the manager explained the circumstances that led to the mishap with my order and made a commendable effort to come to a fair and reasonable resolution. In light of this I can certainly recommend this falafel joint as the food is pretty good, reasonably priced, and my concerns were addressed. FYI- DO NOT order on seamless/grubhub as they seem to longer be offered at this establishment which would explain some negative reviews the store is working to remove the listings but the service seems to be uncooperative.Considering my overall experience there visited several times without issue... I think this place deserves your patronage.
Love their food however, no delivery. Their food prices are higher through food delivery app menus, which usually cost an additional $20 more than pickup. Not worth it. If you can pickup, the veggie plate, falafel & babaganoush are awesome.
I take out food from here all the time, very healthy, fast and very nice people. Also there is a lady called something like Sarah the name is not Sarah but it sounds like it and she is so nice! I am all about customer service and Restaurants should have more people like her
I usually don’t give much reviews, but this tiny place has the best food! Falafel melts in your mouth & Shakshuka is the best one I’ve tried! And they’ve very friendly service to top it off!!!
I went early in the morning when they first opened, because I was waiting anyway for the mechanic next door to finish my car. I just wanted to try the place out with a snack, so I just ordered a few plain falafel balls. They were made fresh on the spot and were indeed delicious, but those were THE MOST EXPENSIVE FALAFEL BALLS I ever had. They charged me $6.50 for 10 falafel balls!! To me on a tight budget, money is the bottom line. So they are getting a bad review. You might have better results though. My order was not a standard menu item, so maybe they just made up a price.
Not only is the food fresh but the unique blend of flavors will satisfy all of your taste buds. Also great customer service. Happy to have this option in the area.
Zero regard for their customers. I placed an order on grubhub, and after two hours of no update, I called the restaurant. They had apparently decided not to deliver through grubhub anymore, without lifting a finger to remove themselves from the site, or cancel open orders as a courtesy to customers. A simple notification that my order would not be fulfilled have made all the difference, and I would have walked two miles to eat in at the restaurant instead.
