Family Dollar Store

If you don't know this store is retail hell. I don't know who exactly to blame half the time for the amount of destruction that runs through this store and the efforts the staff makes to stock the shelves. Today, and what reminded me to do this review, was to talk about my last experience. I live across the street and needed one thing. The store was closed at 3pm, that was Melissa's decision, and was closed for shift change and waiting on a manager. Melissa, cause you know I worked with you at 7 Eleven, is seriously the laziest person I've ever worked with. She wants a smoke break after doing one thing. She will disappear to the back and call her daughter, and she's always on her phone but when you need her to come in to work or to ask a question about why Lottery was short she would never answer Remember Maria your manager who left Singh, she can back that up. So that day, for my one item I actually had to waste gas and drive to the store on 1st which is what THIS store should look like. I, again, need one thing and rather than risk the chance of the store being open or not even getting customer service from Melissa I'm driving to the other one today. Get rid of Melissa P. She really deserves a McDonald's job that'll keep her on feet and busy like real work should.

I was asked if I would like to buy some Reese’s chocolate before leaving, and I politely replied, no. The worker responded with attitude, “well when you no longer have your local family dollar, you know why.” This is part of a contest between branches determining which branches will remain in business. With workers like that, no, you shouldn’t stay in business.

Haven't seen a store so nasty in my life. Floor appears beyond dirty. Shelves are empty. Aisle full of old dusty boxes. Laundry detergent ,Coke products and antifreeze are all on the same shelf

If I could give a negative 0 I would! A couple of the women on the staff are extremely rude always cursing, boyfriends and/family members in there, arguing with them every time I walk thru the door! I understand being short staffed but almost every time I try to go it seems like they r on break, but then again a bunch of people are in the store like family and friends! It's extremely unprofessional and it seems like the only time anyone seems to have any type of professionalism is when I think he is the store manager is there, if he isn't there I don't even like going in there cause they don't know how to act! They need a whole new crew in there that have manners and morals!

No longer a mess. Current staff do much better at keeping the place organized and clean. These pictures are no longer valid.

Disgusting pigpen of a store. The entire store looks like it's been ransacked. I was there once 5 days ago to buy shoes for my daughter and the photos I took today are exactly how it looked days ago.

As A family dollar should be for the location. $1 up to $20. Good variety of things others don't have.

Plz go to any other family dollar. They close whenever they want too. Employees attitude are terrible. And they do illegal transaction in parking lot. This is my last time here. The guy working has keys but swears he dont work here but his wife do. Next I'm calling better business bureau.

Don’t come to this family dollar they always close even in business hours they smoke outside staff is very rude place is a mess some shelf’s are empty they let random people in but then they lock the doors

They are always so nice here. It's a pretty popular store. Some things get bought off the shelf quick. Sometimes they lack certain necessities, because of how popular the store is. But it certainly serves it's purpose for convenience.
