I have been visiting this store for over 30 years and I have never had any issues with customer service or the overall state of the store. However, on July 1st, 2020 I was immediately shocked by how the store looked. It was in complete disarray. There were clothes, shoes, and various products scattered all over the sales floor. Although it bothered me, I proceeded to shop with my brother who is disabled. Once we finished shopping, we proceeded to the checkout line. At the checkout line I informed the cashier that my brother would like to make a split paymentdebit/cash. However, the cashier assumed we were paying with food stamps and entered the payment in wrong. She proceeded to do this a few times. Once I noticed she was having trouble I kindly asked her if she could get someone to help her. Thus, the manager PEDRO came to the register. At the register the cashier tried to explain to the manager what my brother wanted to do. But now they both seemed confused. Thus, I tried to explain to both the manager PEDRO and the cashier that we just wanted to use two forms of payment. Because of the COVID epidemic all customers and employees were instructed to wear mask in the store AS THE SIGN READ THAT WAS POSTED ON THE DOORS. Therefore, when I tried to explain what my brother needed, I elevated my voice a little so they could better understand me over the mask. Once I did that, I was told by the manager I was being rude and disrespectful. In fact, the manager PEDRO than proceeded to tell me to leave the store. He refused to checkout my items and I was forced to go to another store to purchase them. Simply for trying to help my disabled brother communicate his needs clearly. I was extremely embarrassed, treated unfairly, and completely appalled by such display of unprofessionalism and rude customer service. Below I have posted some images of the state of the store. Not very family values. Matt the assistant manager at NW 10th and Rockwell is sleeping with my wife Anna. Horrible.
My 15 year old daughter was almost attacked at the Family Dollar on S.W 25th and Walker in Oklahoma City Oklahoma and the employees did nothing! The homeless guy tried to pin her up in the corner of the ice machine and the wall outside! The store is dirty and half the time they don't even stock the shelves! They have horrible attitudes! The outside is trashy! They constantly have homeless people hanging around the store! This store is a joke and needs new employees who will actually do their jobs and watch out for their customers! My child got away from him and ran back in the store crying and hysterical hoping they would help her and they didn't even ask her if she was okay! They did nothing except stare at her and give her dirty looks. A lady saw what was going on and she went in and asked the clerk to call a cab for my child and my elderly mother in law so they could get home safe because a guy just tried to assault my child and the clerk told her to get out!
There CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE I MEAN HORRIBLE STARTTING WITH ANDREW A MANAGER AN THEY TALK TO PEOPLE ANY KIND OF WAY SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS AN I GO IN THERE 3 TO 5 TIMES A DAY SO IM NOT A RANDOM CUSTOMER I LIVE BY THERE AN I SPEND GOOD MONEY IN THERE

Savagely falsely accused of stealing Sep 26 2019 just after 4 pm. Company's response to horrifying incident was absolutely no response. Immediately reached out CEO in detailed letter. Week and a half no response I learned CEO address letter to no longer FD CEO. Kind of felt letter being sent corporate office address to recently previous CEO shouldn't make difference in a response slightly felt I was being dismissed. 10/14 12:49 pm called store ask manager no. for district manager. She provide me name and no. for DM confirmed with me no. she give me. Called DM 10/14 12:53 pm, no answer automated msg said her voicemail full. Sent 2 texts give summary of incident and told couldn't leave VM bc full. Never response from DM. Mailed another detailed letter to corporate late Oct, no response, it's now obvious FD's response to this horrific devastating incident is no response. Was there pick up Coke products my mother said on sale 3/10 dollars. No sign says Coke products 3 for 10 I go ask associate she knows 3 for 10 said rarely works this store and doesn't know and it's probably best to get one for a price check. Gone guesstimate 30-35 secs getting case soda. Got counter ask register associate he knows 12 pack Coke products on sale. Manner and tone of voice were at the least dismissive. Said: Anything like that would be in those flyers over there pointing flyers beside entrance. At this time associate I initially ask bout sale says: We need to check your purse. I am stunned. I do not steal this is not of my character. I've always been one give clerks back difference if overchanged me speak up if undercharge me. Bought lottery 3 weeks prior for example was 3 dlr mix up in my favor and I returned the 3 dlr to the clerk. Didn't notice woman asked bout soda had come behind counter bc my presence nor 3rd associate was on standby near door no need keep tabs what associates doing or where are as I done no wrong. I said: Can you tell me why or what I'm suspected of stealing? She says: It's a big purse, it's a high crime area, it's not just you it's everybody. I said: That's ok, I can just leave these things and leave. Bag not astronomically big I've gone this FD this bag several times since open little over 2 years ago. Male associate says: It's the law ma'am. I said: Police would have to tell me that. 3rd associate now standing upon my personal space twice ask look my bag. Second time says: I can't look in your purse? I said: No. I began walk across lot to appear on foot in attempt to avoid farther hassling, humiliation, and harassment not have personal space any farther violated as manner of 3rd associate gave pretty good indication was going follow me outside. I'd just gotten to lot of business next door unaware 3rd associate was in her car following me. Apparently she sat and watched for me to get just to that lots edge. She zams in lot in BABAM! manner takes multiple pics me. After first pic drives U back of lot comes back round, stops hard and fast at toes takes another pic. Silver car in images are some of pics took of her car in case needed show police. She began verbally berating me shouting "Don't nobody care about you taking no pictures homegirl you the one came in my store stealing and all that good stuff, all that good stuff" and repeatedly took pics of me. Said/did nothing hopes she go away verses do something defend myself in response her threatening behavior angrily swoop potentially deadly weapon upon me which would result bottom fully drop out both our evening. This associate got extraordinarily egotistical my not reinforcing a condemnation reign upon my character not letting her look in my handbag, my private personal possession. Security footage not only would show my description but fact I didn't lift anything additionally my research found company keeps footage 90-120 days. She followed me for bullying, abuse, and harassment.
