These employees deserve pay raises. We’re here on vacation and stopped in at this location. The store manger confronted a guy clearly a regularly because she knew his name and asked him to remove the shoes from his shorts that he had swiped off of the shelf. She made sure staff and the other customers were safe and then chased him through the mall until security got him.
They close three hours earlier than the rest of the mall. I committed the horrible offense of going in 10 minutes before they closed, so the sales person was pressuring me to make a purchase and get out. I'm not a particular fan of that sales tactic.
Before going, note their hours on the website AND their voicemail are wrong. They currently are only open til 6pm and don’t have any signs, website information or correct information on their phone lines for hours and say they can’t fix it.
Good service good prices and selections
I was heading in to see what they have for something comfortable, fashionable, something easy for work. The second my friend and I walk in the person working goes “Hi, I’m closing soon. Are you looking for dress shoes or tennis shoes? I’m all out of dress shoes.” Most people would say “How are you?” or “Is there anything I can help you find?” Let me mention this was at 3 PM, and she said she was closing for a bit to take a break. My friend and I looked at each other and said “Tennis shoes I guess?” We looked for barely a minute because it felt so awkward being in there after the way we were “greeted.” As we headed out that same employee said “I still have people in the store to help.” Everything she said to us she said with such an attitude! I was happy to leave and take my business elsewhere. Journey’s has much nicer employees!
I love going to this place, it has a very good variety and good prices.
Not as good a selection as they had a few years ago. Mostly Sketchers, some rubber Birkenstocks, lots of sneakers. Store was busy with groups of girls blocking aisles.
Do everyone a favor, update your hours on Google. Came in to the mall today because I Googled "mall of NH" and "famous footwear manchester nh". Both said 9am. Funny, you weren't open at 9am, but the mall was. If you can't even be bothered to update your hours, you don't deserve a dime of anyone's money. I can respect that during this whole situation finding adequate staffing is hard, and you want to give your current employees a break. I completely understand. What I can't grasp is not posting your correct hours of operation for your customers to come into your place of operation. I don't care if you're only open three hours a day, I just need to know those time frames. We're two years into this, it's absolutely unacceptable.
A blond woman working, I unfortunately did not get her name, told my friends and I that “it’s just a phase” when we were trying on sperrys and told us not to buy them. I told her we had a story for getting them, we do it’s because a good friend who passed used to love them so we wanted a pair. She proceeded to keep telling us it’s just a phase and didn’t care that we actually had a reason. We decided to go elsewhere to buy some. So there ya go blond woman, it’s for our dead friend.
Very sad that when customers need help to try an find the right for there ignored
