I want to start off by saying that the girl who cut my sons hair was super nice. I also wanna note that she was a new hairstylistunfortunate for us the following issues are what prompted my 2 stars: - did not "clean up" the sides-very uneven -haircut took too long bc she needed to stop and ask for assistance multiple times -didnt offer to wipe off all the hair-it was on his face neck and shirt-i had to ask for a towel typically done by stylist -Hair was crooked in some parts and there was a couple patches of uneven spots where she tried to fade his hairfrom what I understand it was her first fade- but disappointing nonetheless
I called in on a whim needing a simple wash and cut…they squeezed me in right before close when they were planning on closing early! Sam was incredible! So friendly and great with giving tips on how to help take care of my new style! Reasonably priced and I left feeling like a million bucks! Definitely will be going back and recommend this location and Sam to anyone!!Service: Haircut
I just want to start out with the fact that Sam is an absolute angel. I have a temporary injury that left me unable to wash my hair properly and I needed help. She was so kind and gracious. Gave me a double wash, conditioner, detangled and brushed out my hair. Literally an angel that had no complaints - just empathy and solutions. Her personality and demeanor added even more to the experience. Her coworker was also just the absolute best - and her client! She client traded purses with Sam! So cute! Anyways these are some of the most gracious, talented and kind hearted humans you will meet. They left me happy, confident and light hearted about a bad situation.Service: Hairstyling

I wanted to start out by saying I have been to Fantastic Sams at this location for a couple of years and have always had a wonderful and great experience but unfortunately yesterday it was not the case. I called on September 27th to make an appointment for a haircut and color for October 4th. When the stylist picked up the phone I told her the services I needed and asked if there was an availability. I will admit when I originally asked I did not specify the time. The stylist said ok haircut and color at 10am on October 4th. Realizing right away I could not come in at 10am I said no, I apologize, I should specify the time. I cannot come in at 10am because I work. The earliest I can come in is 3:30pm. The stylist said no problem we can do 3:30 do you have a preference on stylist? I said no, I do not. She said ok, we'll see you on October 4th at 3:30. I even repeated the date and time to her and she said yes. I said ok I'm going to put it in my calendar on my phone right away. As soon as we hung up I did just that. Come October 4th I did receive a call at around 10am but I was working and did not answer the phone. The salon did leave a message but I was not able to receive it. I arrived at my appointment around 3:25 and go to check in. The lady at the front desk looked at the schedule and said sorry your name is not on the schedule. Another stylist came over and said immediately in a very condescending tone Oh you are the "no show" for 10am today. Sorry, you missed your appointment. I said oh there was a mistake the stylist who took my appointment down and originally said 10am but I said no I can't do 10am I asked for 3:30. Again the second stylist said very rudely we don't take haircolor appointments that late we would have told you that on the phone. That is absolutely not true because I have come in during the week at 3:30 before and got a haircut and color but maybe the rules have changed. Either way, I was not informed this on the phone when I made the original appointment. Then the first stylist that was at the front desk chimed in and said I remember talking to you and I would have never had told you we can do a haircut and haircolor at 3:30. I am not sure how to respond to that except that she did. The 2nd stylist very rudely again said I can maybe cut your hair but it it will be 25 minutes. It is not OUR fault you didn't listen to your voicemail. As far as your haircolor does you'll obviously have to come on your day off. I was very thrown back on how I was being treated. I said back to them this is not my fault that the appointment information was taken wrong after even confirmed. Both stylists looked at me and shrugged their shoulders and said ok. I said this is very piss poor service and stormed out fuming. I have never been so angry. I was shocked on how I was being treated and talked to. If they would have just explained to me nicely hey sorry about the misunderstanding but we just don't do haircolor appointments after 3:30 I would have understood but the way I was talked to and treated was uncalled for. I hope the 2 stylists will be talked to and told that, that is not how you talk/treat a customer and they were very unprofessional. If I had a 10am appointment and decided not to show up, why would I show up at 3:30 and say can you take me now? I am sincerely very angry about the situation and they have lost me as customer. I have told friends and family about my experience. If this is how Fantastic Sams treats their customers I don't know how they are still in business. Update **I sent a complaint through their website since you cannot call corporate because there is no one you can directly speak with. Manager of this location never reached out to me.
This was my first visit & I was blessed to get Sam. She was very personable and efficient and I loved my haircut! I am going back to her again for sure! Service: Haircut
I previously LOVED this location. But this is my third time here and there are 2 stylist on shift and neither of them can cut a little boys hair. He just wants a simple fade. He's gotten it here 3 times before. Which is why I bring him here. But recently, that's not the story. Seems the staff that is good, leaves. There's one girl here I'm terrible and can't remember her name but she's the only one worth her weight. I mean, one of the stylists here today is wearing a hat. I think it's tacky for a female in a salon to have her hair covered. If you can't do yours, you shouldn't be touching others. Just disappointing. Absolutely LOVE my haircut! I was there today and was lucky enough to get Jillian as my stylist. She's super friendly and very compassionate. My hair was a hot mess walking in there. She asked me a ton of questions, daily wear, preferences, condition, etc. Never had anyone care about those things before. She gave me the cut I wanted and I wasn't really expecting anyone to be able to achieve it! I will be returning and sending her as many referrals as I can, she's amazing!!!

Horrible experience! I went there to get a cut and she didn’t even cut my hair correct. She told me she was going to blow dry my hair because she likes to do that so she can make sure she cut it right and at the end said oh I’m not going to do it it looks fine like that it was wet so I looked at it and I was like it looks fine I went home the next day I did my hair and on one side it she cut it shorter then the other. I’m so disappointed.
Went in around 12:00 and they were pretty busy and booked up with appointments. I was asked to come back around 4:00 and they made me an appointment for that time. I came back and had my hair cut immediately. Espie Esperanza was AMAZING. I was honestly in a pretty sad mood until she cheered me up and cut my hair. 10/10. Ask for her!Service: Haircut
