Hands down the best cheesecake in DC! And it’s vegan?!?! Usually you get some sad NY cheesecake, but these people really go above and beyond with every layer of flavor for every dish. And the resturant is nut free unless otherwise stated, which makes it really easy to feel a lot less stress. I consistently want to go back for their delicious breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee. Also, pro-tip: the cookie dough is to die for. The donuts are light and airy for donuts and they don’t weigh you down. All of a sudden you will have eaten three and you still won’t feel bad about yourself later.
It’s not everyday you come across an all-vegan diner! Cool vibe and good food. When else could I ever eat fake chicken and waffles??? I would like to go back to try the “eggs” Benedict. It’s on the pricier side, especially if you tip on top of the service fee like is suggested. But that’s what you expect with vegan food…
Awesome vegan food. One of the best vegan food I have had in DC. Loved the flavors. They have a good menu of cocktails, and they were really good too. Finally to close it the pastries are top of the line with yummy flavors.Food: 5/5
I get overwhelmed when I find a vegan place with this many amazing options. The chick’n tenders were so good paired with a salad, and I took home some tofu “egg salad”. I’ll be back for a Buffalo chick’n wrap and all the pastries. This place is a gem!!! Very attentive service too.
Loved the atmosphere of this place! Definite diner vibes — but 100% vegan food! We ordered a salad, the Mac & cheese and the crazy bones brownie which was also GF. We liked the food and service was so so. Only thing that would have made this better was more attentive servers. Vibe was great so was the dessert!
I consider myself a pancake connoisseur. I’m not a vegan. But I decided to give their vegan pancakes a try. And I was left speechless. Delicious is an understatement. Couldn’t tell that they weren’t made with eggs or milk. Highly recommended if you’re a fan of pancakes.
"Best place in the world" according to my 6 year old. He's been a vegan his entire life and was very excited about going some place that was all vegan where he could order anything on the menu. He ordered pancakes when we went there for breakfast I got the waffles which were also amazing, the breakfast potatoes were perfect. Everything was so delicious we came back the next night and got mac and cheeze, I got the pastrami on rye it was good, but dry, definately ordering it with some sauce on the side next time. We also got some vegan baked goods which were all amazing! The staff there was also down to earth which created a laid back environment. I can't wait to come back next time we're in DC.
Since I live about 45 minutes away and believe in limiting my eat out budget, it speaks volumes that I've been here twice in the last 3 weeks. My history with the area and H Street is way deeper than my 2 years of being vegan but Sticky Fingers has me missing the area more and more. I just recently had my birthday brunch there and although I am the only vegan I made several meat eaters believers in my happy vegan eats all because of Sticky Fingers. I always order several dishes just for me because I just have to try everything. I highly recommend the brussels, french toast sticks, and not sure if it's seasonal but the lavender waffle YUMMY oh and the calamari mushrooms Oh hell order everything I do lol
Delicious, delicious, delicious! We had the Reuben, the Cheesy Mac and the Poutine and oh my goodness, what a treat! Would return in a heartbeat. Go there for mains, desserts, diner style eating, the friendliest service and general vegan amazingness!
The restaurant is so cute with booths and a back patio. Service was great you order and pay via QR code and the blueberry pancakes were delicious with a cinnamon butter. They also have pastries to purchase at the front. It was a very relaxed atmosphere on a late Wednesday morning, homey and chill!
