I was able to get great rates. I tried to make a time change to my ticket 5 minutes after purchasing it. Customer service couldn't get me the same rate for the alternative time, even though it was clearly on their website. I had to make a second reservation and then cancel my first one. In doing that I messed up my name and didn't notice until the next day. Customer service was able to help me get the ticket changed without a fee. Really appreciated that, but it would have been even better if the first rep had been able to get me the ticket their site offered 4 stars. All in all, great price. Just be more careful than I was making your reservation. Don't do it late at night.
Unlike all the negative posts that I read online, I had an amazing experience. The price for the airfare changed ,but FareDepot honored the original quote and refunded the difference . I received an email notifying me that my card will be charge $60 more,but that I will also see a credit for the above amount. Now , I can freely say that I got the best deal available for that period, and that the transaction was very smooth and pleasant.
An awesome company. Outstanding excellent customer service. Great prices. A well built website with no glitches. Easy to use. They've only been around for a couple of years but in my opinion I feel they do a way better job than most established companies. A while back I was buying a ticket for my uncle , a terrific deal. But the credit company kept rejecting it. Fear not, FareDepot saved the day. They contacted me by email in less than half an hour. They continued trying and trying. They went out of their way to help me. They could of just washed their hands and told me to look for a different ticket, and lose out on a great deal. But they didnt. And this year, even when the airline company changed the fare, FareDepot honored the price I bought it for, and gave us a refund on the credit card for the difference. That's the type of company I'll always come back to.
Great stuff! Saved 300 dollars on my International travel.No other website offered that price and the booking was absolutely hassle free.Got my ticket within a couple of hours after the payment was processed! Fare depot is realistically good at what it does. Hopefully it lives up to its reputation each time ahead.
I booked an international flight through FareDepot. Their price was around $120 cheaper than any other travel website. I did a double booking by accident and did not even know this happened. However their customer support called me soon after and explained to me what happened. They were able to cancel the duplicate booking and process the correct one. I definitely recommend their services :
So far so good! Booked a round trip ticket to Tanzania, and the airline was very upfront about everything. The first email they send let's you know that the booking request has been received, and that you will receive an additional email once the booking has been confirmed with the e-ticket. About two hours later I received an email confirming the reservation in addition to my e-ticket. The reservation was also visible on the airline's website! FareDepot also was upfront about the cost difference, and said that they would refund the difference to my account within 7 business days! On the 7th day I noticed the refund in my account . No complaints from me
Please save your money. DO NOT book with Fare Depot. First they charged me an extra $363 on my booking. I have been waiting for almost three months for a refund which they promised but I have not gotten anything except an endless chain of emails. Then, I get an email today from them that my flights on June 15th are cancelled, but when I go to Turkish Airlines site, I see that flights are still booked. I am told by Turkish Airlines that I can opt for Open Tickets which would be valid until December 31, 2021. Fare Depot sends me their "standard voucher policy" which is very different than Turkish Airlines. I have exchanged many emails today with them asking for clarification but have not gotten anywhere. They DO NOT pick up the phone. I don't mean long hold times, they just DO NOT pick up the phone. If this doesn't get resolved soon, I may write to Consumer Protection Agencies in both DC and Virginia and pursue other legal action.
Very professional and supportive Support Center. Very polite and patient, the various analysts helped me through a couple of transactions, including searching alternatives as well as cancelling previously bought trips. Also contrary to many negative reviews, I got my tickets used by the airlines less than 6 hours after I ordered them via FareDepot - it is all down to your bank or credit card allowing the eletronic transactions to go through. 2 thumps up.
Had a very good experience working with them. I love the fact that I could get my fare at a much reduced rate and it was hassle-free. The only issue I had was they kept saying my credit card was getting declined but every time I called the bank they kept stating on there end there were no issue at all and they couldn't understand why their system was declining it when there was no decline on the banks part. Other than that the rest was great!!
The process was quick and easy to book a flight, i like that i could already pick out my seats online. Some other travel agencies i used, i wasn't able to confirm my seats. Thank you for a smooth and easy booking! Will definitely use them again. :
