Great little family owned wine shop. Small but good selection of wines, sake and Japanese whiskey. Great selection of Spanish wines..Not your typical fare of the big wineries you find everywhere else. I must agree to the great 80s playlists of the Ramones and Husker Du on the speakers Every time the owner is in. Oh, as to that remark about overpriced and yuppy the guy must have meant to write that review for some other liquor store on Atlantic or closer to Trader Joe's. You can always ask for a recommendation if you have a budget in mind. They are always eager to help with a suggestion.

They service more wine drinkers than anything. Very yuppyish. They don't have much variety on hard liqour. AND VERY VERY VERY OVER PRICED. You can tell easily that they're overpriced cause the place is always empty. If you're not a white person or some uppity black guy you feel very uncomfortable there. Better off buying from somewhere else.

The absolute best wine shop in the Carroll Gardens area. Yes, there are other liquor stores that have been around for a millennia, and others still that their forefathers names are the streets that........I get it. I love it too. But, this place is just straight quality products. Not only have the wines been categorized easily for you, but they have easy to read descriptions, and sometimes even pairing ideas for their versatile wine portfolio. They also rotate stock often and you can always find something new. Want something cold? Ask! They might have it in a fridge in the back. And if you're just not sure..ask. It's family owned and their employees really know their wine too. They play 80's music and classic rock which is a nice change from a soup opera playing in the background. Also, their booze selection is limited because of space but still pretty darn good.
