Owners super friendly and welcoming! Was amazed at how moist the meat pie was! Not flaky at all and super tasty! Would definitely recommend trying this place out!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Such a cute little Brazilian cafe. Everything tasted fresh and soooooooo good. They even have a tiny Brazilian grocery store. The atmosphere is perfect and the owners are the most adorable couple I’ve ever met. They’re super friendly.
Highly recommend for anyone that is interested in trying Brazilian food, INCREDIBLY KIND staff that are knowledgable and sweet. Also has a small wall of market goods. If you like sweet try their speciality coffees for sure!
Awesome small, unassuming restaurant and shop with excellent food, super friendly staff and really cool atmosphere. We had coxinhas and a hairy and we're not disappointed. We will definitely be back and try more things. We just ordered to go on our way through Portland. The food was cooked on the spot with fresh ingredients. The cashier was polite, friendly and very helpful. Overall a great experience!
We fell in love with this place immediately. Cool atmosphere and amazing help. Everything was so good and delicious. Thank you, Favela.
Honestly if you need a taste of south america this is the place to go. Even the cold brew speaks delicious volumes of the quality here. The favela market is my go to for comforting baking ingredients from south of the border. Excellent pastry & little bites as well.Parking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree street parking, Paid street parking
favela café ia the real Brazilian experience in Portland. if you wanna feel welcome, sense of community and feel like being in Brasil, this is the Place! rodrigo and his wife are the most warm and welcoming people ! The food is amazing! From Pao de queijo, tô Bauru, açaí, brigadeiro, doce de leite, endless and authentic options. Plus good music, Brazilian vibes, products to take home! Couldn’t ask for anything more! I 100% recomend
What a sweet neighborhood spot! The baked goods tend to lean toward the savory end of the spectrum, and that's great by me. The pie that was made with hearts of palm, green olives, and corn was a welcome recommendation from the woman working the counter. I don't drink much coffee, but my decaf went perfectly with the baked goods, and their specialty coffees at other tables looked like real treats - either chocolate or caramel or Nutella very liberally applied to the rim of tulip shaped glasses. Parking on this stretch of Foster was in surprisingly short supply, which I'm guessing is an indication of Favela being another part of the successful resurgence of this part of town.
Mini Vacation! Excellent Atmosphere, People, Food and Drink. A must for anyone living or visiting the Portland Area!!!
