Coffee Beer is such a chill place to enjoy some good coffee, delicious pastries, and they have an excellent selection of craft beer. The vibes of this place are on point. They are super nice and welcoming! If you are in the area, definitely stop by and check them out, you won’t regret it!!
Coffee shops have become such an essential Keystone of the culture. I mean, I remember back when a cup of coffee was something usually pretty dank that you got at the local diner for next to nothing, more of a fast and dirty street drug than a fulfilling experience. This shows my age, but when modern coffee shops came on the scene, I thought it was a passing fad. Don't invest in my prophetic abilities. In fact, I was living in Japan when the phenomenon started and I thought, Man! What a weird idea. Fast forward to the nearly ubiquitous community gathering places that dot our towns like like freckles on on a redhead and that brings me to Coffee Beer. They are vegan and I didn't notice which is a huge point in their favor. I honor and respect people that tread that particular path, but I'd rather slack myself in the face with a porcupine than try and live a vegan lifestyle. Well Played Coffee Beer! Insidious... So the drinks were good, the place was welcoming, the weather was just right, and the company was a treasure. We came from out of the area for a very special meeting and chose Coffee Beer out of the hat based on its reviews. It was an important meeting that meant a lot to us and having a safe and welcoming place was so important. The meeting went well, we never felt pressure to buy more or move on, the vibes were good. So funny that coffee shops have become such hubs of their communities, such universal havens. Thank you Coffee Beer for recognizing that and making the experience just right. Maybe we should pass a law that instead of churches being the traditional sanctuaries they could be coffee shops.
Great little coffee shop ! I love that it’s vegan and also convenient for me, being a neighbor to the shop! Love also that there is a really great beer selection, and the vibe is really nice. They are still really strict with masks unfortunately stricter than the hospital where I work!
A great coffee shop and probably the best one around in the radius of the neighborhood! It's small and lovely, has a ton of options, chill vibes and a great place to stop especially in the colder months coming up! I always send friends down the road or recommend it when they are visiting my business. They have a good selection of things, and definitely cater to the vegan community. I am no vegan but that doesn't stop me from ingesting vegan foods and drinks. I like it all. Tastes great and highly recommend. I really enjoy their matcha as well, and often get the matcha with Espresso. Do stop in and support this small business if you are in the area! Wheelchair accessibility: Ground Level, has wheelchair access.
Love this place! It’s a great spot to work or just hang out. Super friendly staff, great coffee and delicious snacks! Love that everything is vegan by default. Glad to have it in SE!
Great location, good coffee, nice vibe, and kind staffs! Perfect place to chill and work night/day. Also they designed their goods really well. It could be a nice souvenir if you are visiting Portland. Will definitely come back here.
Friendliest coffee/bar in the neighborhood. Their outdoor space is perfect to chill and enjoy end-of-the-day sunlight.
Love this place! My boyfriend and I recently visited in the late afternoon. I ordered an oat latte, and he ordered a cocktail. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is cute and relaxed. Only downside is they do not have decaf coffee options, which would be pretty nice for us late coffee drinkers.
I love this place. Great beer selection, great coffee, right next door to Cutie Buys. Highly recommend a visit. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan Kid-friendliness: I bring my infant all the time. Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan. It's mostly coffee and beer.
The name's pretty succinct. It's a great plant based café that doubles as a cozy place to have a couple beers for there or taking away in the evening. A much less intense and casual experience than a full on bar which overwhelms me a bit these days.
