Low key, neighborhood fav, dropped in on a whim and was treated to a great selection of brews, ciders  and come to find out that the spirits they serve are strictly local. Great vibe, extremely relaxing atmosphere. A local haunt well worth the time. Will definitely be back!!

Oh my, oh my! What's better than a knowledgeable bar tender who tells you 'this is what I've been drinking more', or 'if you're just getting of work and feeling thirsty you'll like this'? You're right, nothing. Just go here and let them guide you in your beer tasting journey. They're awesome!

One of the best tap curations in Portland.  Incredible spot. One of my faves. Great range of beer on tap.  If you are bidet curious, enjoy your trip to the restroom.

Drink fearlessly and responsibly. *End Corona Update*  Finding a unique beer experience in Portland is tricky, but Sessionable finds a niche and delivers with aplomb.  30 taps, many that tend towards 5%ish abv mean you can easily spend a long time having small glasses of whatever takes your fancy from the selection. At a recent visit, as well as a great representation of local beers, some uncommon German kegs were on.  There's always 2 nitro taps, one Porter and one something else, which is always a welcome find.  The food menu is succinct and does the job, with small plates of olives and a charcuterie plate being welcome additions to our most recent visit.  It's a compact, tidy and modern space.

Came by here on a Sunday afternoon. The bartender was incredibly knowledge about not only styles of beer, but some of their histories as well, and all in a friendly manner. They have a great selection of beers, although their food selection is a bit limited but still good nonetheless. Would definitely plan on coming back here, preferably by bike or on foot as parking in the surrounding neighborhood is also quite limited.

Was very impressed by this beer bar. Excellent staff and very knowledgeable about the beers that are being poured and the local brew scene in general. Was lucky enough to visit on a day when they had a beer pairing with girl scout cookies. Sounds odd, but it was great - especially the sour with the Trefoil - fantastic. Will definitely return when I am back in Portland.

Amazing spot. John is a super cool guy and obviously loves his trade. The beers he recommended were fantastic and the food was equally great. I'll definitely be back.

Sessionable is an amazing small neighborhood bar. Big selection of beers for all tastes. It has a kind of corporate vibe, but you’ll find that it’s just good branding; this is their only location! Great to see the owner, John, regularly working behind the bar. Charlie brings that old school bar feel, where nothing is off limits, and real conversations happen. He has worked there since they opened, and they’ve only ever hired one other person sorry I don’t know your name!. John knows how to run a small business without turning it into a cold, heartless “business entity”. Great local spot!!
