This was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. I’m not being hyperbolic I’m just being honest. I really didn’t know what to expect and I was so excited about the price! $5?! And oh man was it delicious. Perfect cheese crust and cooked egg with the Reuben sauce. I can still taste it. Very friendly staff as well. One of my favorite experiences in Portland.
This place is really amazing, cozy and I loved it. Now fall season is the best season to visit this place and have a hot coffee and breakfast. Menu is simple and cute and place is really really cute and loved it a lot. We can sit outside too, but I would prefer in summer. We had breakfast and coffee and I loved the place. Food price is really affordable and the place is really clean.
Not that impressed. Was expecting a cute coffee shop to relax and enjoy coffee. It’s actually just a window to order and basically “get lost.” They don’t want you standing too close as you wait outside in the cold for your order. They wouldn’t even let me wash my hands and told me to walk to the motel around the corner, no thanks. This is actually disrespectful to European culture which is around the coffee enjoyment experience, what a misleading name. It’s cute, has some pastry and food options but I’ll never return.
Ok ok. There’s hype and there’s the real thing. This place is REAL. And the baked goods and breakfast burrito/ sandwich are no hassle hof. Just hoftastic. Get it while they got ‘em and I’m very happy here. I love the cinnamon twist and the coffee. I love the vibe and energy. Score of 4.7 average on google isn’t enough in my book.
Cozy little spot opposite the Goose Hollow MAX station. Limited seating, inside and out, but wifi is strong and has relaxing vibes. Limited menu items e.g. coffee, latte, breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, pastries, but enough to whet the palate and get your day started.
Fehrenbacher Hof is one of the Crown Jewels of Goose Hollow. The food and coffee were very good and cheap, and the atmosphere was excellent. This is, in my opinion, arguably the best sit-down coffee parlor on the West Side, and among the top three in Portland proper. It feels very genuine, and is a great place to read a book, chat with a friend, or get some work done. Would highly recommend.
Incredible, quaint coffee shop nestled in Goose Hollow. Simple menu of coffee, breakfast, and pastries with extremely fair prices not to mention half-off day-old pastries. Warm and inviting indoor seating. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. Will be back very soon.
This was a cute little coffee shop we found after an appointment. The coffee was delicious and it was fun to look at all the little drinkets throughout the shop. There were so many yummy choices of pastries to choose from that were freshly made.
Used to be a regular haunt of mine when I was living in NW! After moving to AZ, it was always in my lost when I was visiting home! I'm obsessed with their breakfast sandwiches and crave then from time to time.
Freshly baked muffins, a tasty sandwich and the best coffee we have had on our trip. 5 stars, amazing.
