I was so excited to try somewhere new and when i booked the appointment it said “barber cut” so i was looking forward to my experience with Michelle and while everyone was very kind, sitting down to immediately be told that they do not do any sort of fades or taper did not start my experience off well! i came in with the longest my hair has ever been and after explaining what I wanted KEEPING THE LENGTH and being told that they do not do that style instead of listening and coming up with a new plan to fit what i wanted my style to be. They just chopped my hair completely off with the clippers and made my whole hair shorter than it has been in almost a year!! it was so disappointing to walk away with zero percent of anything i wanted and $100 less in my bank account. if i wanted this type of all around buzz cut i could have gone to the barber down the street for a quarter of the price! definitely not a place for short hair!! very disappointing i hope they stop marketing the barber style cut unless they change with they are able to do!

I was looking for a hair salon in DC when I moved and found Fiddleheads in my Google search. Vicki did a curly cut on me and it was the best haircut of my life! She was super sweet and on time. I moved here from NY and was still traveling to get my hair cut. It’s really difficult to find hairstylist who understand how to cut and style different types of curly hair. I decided it was time to find a hairstylist in DC and Fiddleheads kept coming up. I had a good feeling about them and booked with Michelle. She was so enthusiastic about cutting my hair into the style I want. She has such a great energy and I immediately felt like I came to the right place. I had long 3C hair that I wanted cut in a bob. I love the way she cut my hair! She is such a skilled hairstylist. I've been going to Vicki for years. She always does a fantastic job! She's very patient and attentive to detail not to mention a delightful person. My curls are between a 2c and a 3a, and Vicki's cuts and styling always bring out the curls very nicely!

Michelle is a miracle worker!! I went in for my first ever curly cut and not only did she make my longer hair look AMAZING without sacrificing length, but she reshaped my bangs so they frame my face so well AND gave me curly hair tips for when I style it on my own. Michelle was great! Despite a bit of a mix-up on the booking appointments are usually an hour, which I didn't realize, and my hair definitely takes longer than that she still accommodated the appointment. Michelle was knowledgeable and as an added bonus, hilarious, and helped fix a very awkward cut from a previous salon. I'm now on day 2 hair and it's still looking excellent. I'd definitely recommend booking an appointment! I also really appreciated that the whole salon is triple vaccinated, and stylists wore masks.

I had an amazing curly cut with Michelle! She listened and cut my hair exactly as I requested. She spent so much time making sure my curls were just right. I appreciated that she could keep my length while maximizing my curls. She’s a curl expert and I highly recommend her!Services: Haircut
