Do not trust this office. Matthew Smith handled my investments for many years. His fees ate any gains and the numbers moved negatively the entire time he managed my accounts. I was treated as if my retirement investments were not important. Refused to answer questions or take directions on how I wanted my money invested. They are not fiduciaries so they don’t care as long as they generate fees. DO NOT trust them to manage your retirement. Avoid Matthew Smith.
I was trying to move money from managed account to non-managed this should have taken 2 days. 15 days in this had not happened. I removed all my money from fidelity and put into not for proffit credit union, which saved me on latest crash. And upon getting my taxes done found out they overpaid IRS $17,000. with my withdraws. and that cost me $3200 to have them manage .seems these people missed there mark.. go else were buy lottery tickets . give your money to some one who needs it.
These guys have hold times of hours and our claiming 'due to covid' when no one else in the industry has this problem. Then you mention your displeasure and the terminate your account. Schwab or TD Ameritrade is a better choise
Hey, they locked me out of my account due to some weirdness, made me come to the site at Salt Lake City. It was fine, I actually appreciate them keeping my money safe. Talked to Jordan and she was just the nicest lady. Made me fee special even though I have a 100 dollar IRA with them. I hope these guys are as legit as they act.
The representatives at this branch are prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. There is a large waiting area in their newly remodeled location with TV, complimentary drinks, and newspaper. There are usually more than enough staff to help as many customers as needed so there usually isn't much of a wait. I would highly recommend banking with Fidelity and at this branch.
The representatives at this branch are extremely knowledgeable but, they do not have the ability to draw cash so being a member of fidelity only allows you to withdraw $500.00 a day at most.
They charged me for things without telling me e.g. $50 to close my $250 IRA. Made it difficult to leave when I wanted to leave. Not this particular location, the corporation.
New account with 30k invested getting locked out of my account every day is a joke.. eventually getting my account shut off while making a large purchase. Total BS. There is a thing as over bearing.
