Financial Insurance Group - Idaho's best insurance

Tanya and Cody are awesome! Amazing customer service and they even shop my insurance for me EVERY year upon renewal! Couldn't ask for a better company and amazing people! If you are looking for any kind of insurance, definitely give them a try!

I believe it's fair to say nobody thinks about insurance unless they're negotiating a new premium or heaven forbid they actually need to use it. Unfortunately after the recent buyout of Idaho's Best Insurance this companies incompetence has forced me out. Maybe the new management would like to focus on larger accounts which leads me to believe there are other great Brokers in our area there that will work hard for us little people and provide us with better customer service. After my premium with my current insurance company almost tripling due to increases and a minor fender-bender I reached to my agent for a requoted and have somebody help me figure this out. Something I've done plenty of times over the last 18 years with this same company without any issues. I was told by my insurance agent that "not to tell you you're on the back burner but you're on the back burner." Well during the process of me being on the back burner I was burned because of their negligence. After referring plenty of business to these guys, I hate to say that I would stay far away from Idaho's Best. If they can screw up a simple cancellation then just imagine what they can do if your house were to burn down or you were in a terrible accident. *UPDATE* 01/05/18 After reviewing Idaho's Bests response to my review. I was never upset about my insurance premium going up. Since i'm a grown man and I understand how this works. I'm completely responsible for this. It was being told that I wasn't important enough at the time of requesting a re-quote. Also when i'd call in to re-quest help with claims I was often forgotten about. These minor things Sandy and her team handled for me. I also requested in writing and by calling two weeks ahead of my renewal date in order to avoid having to pay two premiums to cancel. They ignored my requests and the policy was renewed. After talking with the actual insurance company they confirmed this with me. Again in short my complaint is not with the cost of their quote but absolutely with lack of service. Gosh I'm surprised they didn't include my SSN and CC accounts with the response.

We have always felt that we have been taken care of and that our best interest was a priority with FIG. Their honesty and customer service is top notch.

Kirk is my agent for my car and apartment. He did a good job of finding the best price - he saved me $30/month compared to my old agent! He is always available when I have a question or something comes up.

We have been with this company for numerous years, at the beginning things were substantial and decent. The reason we switched is because I am paying over $150 less than currently, the new company has us with the same company that we were through Idahos Best Insurance but that much less of a monthly premium we are paying for the same amount of vehicle and coverage. I am not understanding why, we never had an issue with them little things here and there but in all honesty the customer service there (only one person I can honestly recall that provided great customer service is the receptionist) everything else is a blur and not worth for me to have any conversations with. So therefore I would not recommend this company.
