Fireworks Keene

My boyfriend was given a prepaid visa from his company so we could go out to dinner. We chose to go to Fireworks because we have enjoyed our previous visits. Being new parents we don’t normally have the time nor the money to go out to eat so we were very excited. Food was great, and service was okay, however when we got the check and went to use our card, we were told it wasn’t an accepted form of payment.

I'm sure some would love the atmosphere/ambiance, but it was not my cup of tea. Rather hipster feel with some speckled in AARP crowd. The lounge singer might have been welcomed for drinks later in the evening, but not for the mid week dinner hour. The dinners, while decent quality and flavor are very small especially for the price. Nothing was so gourmet or unique that the price or portion was really justified. A pizza at a brick oven place down the street would have been twice the size and equally as well executed. Didn't end up getting drinks so I can't speak on those. I'd avoid unless you're trying to show off your trendiness and bank account.

Window seating always a premium.bar is always full. Appetizers varied & portioned to make a lighter meal. Dinners are pricey. Drinks are smaller & more expensive than other comparable nearby places. Waiters are not that attentive or anticipate. Still, a good get-away stop-off.

Great place for late night moments to share. Ambiance and friendly people. After Arlo and fam who were great.

The food is getting better, more consistent. The specials are great as a rule. Drinks are really good. A little on the expensive side, but a nice treat and a good place to hang out with friends.
