First American Title Insurance Company

Dealing with Gary at First American title has such a terrible experience! I went in on 5/30/2017 to sign on a new home and I pointed out the forms had incorrect information and needed to be corrected prior to signing. I was advised do not worry about as it fine? They stated the corrections could be fixed later? I finished signing and was advised the loan would fund today and we would have our keys on 5/31/2017 without fail. Three hours later we received a call from First American Title stating the documents had a few errors that needed to be corrected and they would need me to sign again on 5/31/2017 and it may take an additional 24 hours for the loan to fund. So, I go back in and Gary (Escrow Officer) pulled out the paperwork again and as we started to sign he stated the name is not correct on the documents and we may need to have them typed again and reschedule the signing. I expressed to him this needs to be corrected now and I have taken time off work over the last 2 days for the errors made by First American Title and he response is he does not know why I am upset as its not his fault? Now after signing the correct documents Gary proceeds to ask my wife why I am in such a bad mood after I left the room? I would advise to stay American Title and never use Gary! Based on the other reviews for this location is seems like normal operating procedure for Gary and First American Title!

This group is at the top of their game. My clients closing are handled professionally and accurately and they go to great lengths to cooperate with lenders and agents. Brooke & Kelly just completed a transaction for our clients and expertly guided them through the pitfalls of HOA document delays and errors and closed the deal on time. When we realized that the seller's had also bought the property and used First American Title, they reduced their fee and offered them a re-issue rate! What a pleasant surprise for the sellers to walk away with a little extra. A real pleasure to work with this team!

They were very slow on getting things done, hard to work with, and don't accommodate the buyer very well. First American Title is the reason I moved in late.
