First Baptist Church of Waco

I've joined this church since my freshmen year at Waco. I've made many friends there and they all play major role of my life as college student. All members are nice people that they treat every student like their family member. Beside regular church service, there are also other activities like winter retreat and mission trip to Mississippi for student to enhance their spiritual life and friendship. Sunday is great day for student because they provide free breakfast and dinner. This is a great place for those who want fellowship and develop their Christian faith.

My family and I passed by your church today in route to the magnolias. We noticed the $10.00 for parking sign. I find it odd that a church would charge for parking. Is this considered serving your community? Don't you think it would be more pleasing to God to offer FREE PARKING? Instead of collecting money, hand out pamphlets explaining how to recieve salvation. You could also ask to pray with folks that use your free parking. This is an observation/opinion from one Christ follower to another. God bless your church!

During my four years as a student at Baylor University, I felt as though this place became another home and another family. I made some great friends through the college ministry and through the church as a whole. The church is so multi-generational and so welcoming.
