First Colonial Inn

I don't know where to begin. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive. The place is clean and nice. The food is good. And, most importantly, all the residents seem really happy there. I mean, c'mon, what's not to like.

We have found First Colonial meets all the needs of our brother, providing a safe, supportive and welcoming community that makes him feel he's in his home. He and we could not be more pleased.

This facility is by far the best in Hampton Roads. You can feel the love when you walk in door! Everyone from the executives to the cleaning crew all seem to love working there and it shows. The care they give your loved one is superior to none and their food is delicious! I go into all these types of senior living facilities for my job and I would tell you they are not all created equal. Go see for yourself and you will know they are the best community for Mom and/or Dad.

Living in assisted living with an independent spouse for over 6 months, we have actually enjoyed being a part of this community. Having experienced MANY other facilities, I am in a position to say that FCI is head and shoulders above the rest! Nestled in a leafy enclave just adjacent to the Hilltop area, FCI is convenient to shops, medical offices and the interstate. The grounds are beautiful with lush landscape, and pond filled with waterfowl! Management, staff, food services, social interactions are all thoughtfully presented. Hiring is done with an eye to preserving the "DNA" of the Inn - which is thoughtful interaction with the residents. Everyone seeks to build up, encourage and support. My spouse recently was absent for a family event, and my care was undertaken with consistency and care. We were both SO pleased that she will not hesitate to travel in the future. We give First Colonial Inn an A+!

A fine retirement community. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My Father has lived here since July 2013 and he feels right at home. I would highly recommend it to any senior.

Hannah is AMAZING. I can’t even say enough good things about her. She went above and beyond to try and help me with some Wedding information.

I know many family friends to live here, always great things to say. Best kept secret in Virginia Beach at Hilltop with a great team.
