First Methodist Houston

From the outside the church looks like a regular business building, but when you go inside your breath is almost taken away. There's a lot of beautiful stained glass murals both in the lobby and in the sanctuary. This is honestly one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been to. I loved the big organ and the awesome large choir.

Beautiful church located in the middle of downtown, it plays wonderful bell music on the hour and it helps the homeless by providing meals and needed items.

I grew up at this church and have not needed to find another. It’s is a church community that is committed to adapting the eternal message of the gospel to changing times through different avenues. They truly make you feel like you have a church “home”

Old world elegance. Bible classes are wonderful.

Traditional service with great preaching, an amazing choir and one of the finest pipe organs in the area. Contemporary service as well, and lots of community involvement. A pillar of Houston making a difference in people's lives.
