Flag Ponds Nature Park

I hail from the eastern land of blue crabs and dense rain forest like environments. So, moving out her I missed the trees and the shade, while it's not exactly the same, this park offers me some homey feels while not being too far from home it's self. Did I mention that there is an ice cream shop around the corner? "C & L dairy".

Beautiful scenery here. $8 entrance fee. The walk isn't the easiest, especially on the way back to the vehicle, as the hill is a bit steep. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the information along the way on the trail. If you are a for shark teeth or fossils, definitely take a sifting toy/tool.

Great hiking trails and beautiful beach. Found 3 sharks teeth while there and Bonus to the fact they are dog friendly!

Lovely park with facilities. A decent little hole to get from parking lot to the beach. Very clean beach

Learning experience, plenty of shells to find, with a little patience. A great time to relax from every day hassles. A great work out walking the hill to parking lot
