Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant

Hired Flanders Fish Market to cater for my wedding and it turned out great! It was a pretty pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. We had an outdoor wedding and they showed up with a portable kitchen. Food was really good. I recommend for sure.

Fried Clams and french fries. Sweet tea on ice. Our waitress was Kathy with over twenty years on the floor. Thank you so much for your service you made our month. All the food was great and the experience was fulfilling and enjoyable.

I have been going to Flanders Fish Restaurant every time I'm in the area. The food is always great. Our waitress was exceptional and I understand she has been there for 23 years and still doing a wonderful job. Many thanks for a delicious meal and great service.

Flanders Fish Market is a local favorite in East Lyme and Niantic. It’s a great place for families and it also has a bar. You can eat inside the dining room and also outside on the patio if the weather is nice. Our last visit was to pick up chowder and fresh bread. They sell all sorts of seafood from homemade chowders, flounder, Quahog clams, Haddock, Swordfish, Salmon, and Trout.

I can't for the life of understand all the rave reviews for this place. It was so tasteless and gross, I'm not sure what was worse... the constant/hard core waft of the urinal cookies from the bathrooms or the fact that a few of us ordered Lobster eggs Benedict and of course, in true Connecticut fashion, it came with NO LOBSTER. 4 people looking at each other like.."That just happened"? Then to throw this tasteless mess on a piece of cornbread? Dude. My advice to the cook: either stop smoking weed or maybe find a better dealer? When my kids chicken nugget kids meal is the star of the table....run.
