Parted with a massive game collection to this store, so I'm inclined to be a bit sore about that, but it was my decision. With most items being vintage, they usually have a series of consoles set up to test at least the cartridge games, so you at least make sure your game is in working order before taking off, if you live far. Did a lot of business with these guys a few years back, and was happy with the collection I had built at the time. Even though I'm done with gaming for the most part, I was happy to do business with them, and might still get some more games again in the future if I can get some free time.

This place is neat! Selection changes often and I always find some odd junk I want. If you're looking for an old collectible game, some cool plastic junk, or a newer game on the cheap, you absolutely need to add this place to your "old game store" rotation and check em out. The people are nice and the prices are fair as far as I've seen em.
HAVING SAID THAT:
This place is literally closed about 40%-%60 of the time. Like for actual, if anything I'm giving then the benefit of the doubt. 3 out of 4 times I go there, they're closed. WHY don't you want my money? They have the kindness to post a note on the door why they are closed, it's usually a death, birthday, nightmare in the family (understandable) but it seems to happen all the time.
For real, drive there right now, I bet they're closed. All I want to do it give you guys my money, plz...

I've spent at least $1000 here in the past year and today was the first really unpleasant experience. Was looking at Ninja Gaiden 3 on NES but the bottom of the cartridge was a bit chewed up and yellowed inside. Asked if they could open it so I could be sure the pins weren't really worn too. "We usually only open games over $100" and "it's not fake, we checked". Well, that first one isn't true, they opened a pretty beat up $80 Bucky O'Hare without fuss. Regardless, if I want a $50 dollar game opened up then that should be it. The tone was really what got me. In the end it looked great inside because they cleaned it. It was the perfect moment to impress the customer by showing the care they took with the board. Instead I'll be debating if my money should go elsewhere.
