Please stay on the trails to keep the place beautiful and well maintained. We can all do our part. ....... This is a small woodsy area in the middle of the suburban town of Englewood. It's got about 5 different trails (mostly loop trails), all accessible to most, but not to strollers or wheelchairs. You will have to be able to walk up dirt roads and rocky inclines. Your shoes will get some dirt/mud on them but it's worth it. ....... For those on wheels, you can still visit to see the owls, red tailed hawk, and one or two more types of birds in an enclosed area outdoors, as well as a small museum of sorts with displays that teach about the wildlife in the area. There's also a gazebo picnic area. All of these are near the main building where there is parking.

Cute place for a calm and easy hike. It can get a bit of foot traffic so I would not recommend it to those who like to feel alone in the woods (me most times). Plenty of turtles in the pond!

Nice place to feel like you are a million miles away from urban life. Good walking trails. Parking tight.

I absolutely love this place. I only wish they allowed dogs (even during certain times). It's like Harriman/bear mountain but closer to the city. All the trails run into each other so it's hard to be lost for more than 30 minutes. There are steams galore. The yellow and green trails are they most easily flooded. White, blue and purple are at the highest elevation.
