Worked with John to get a new pair of running shoes. I had a pair of shoes that recently started giving me trouble with blisters. John listened to all my concerns and recommended the perfect pair of shoes. I have had no issues with blisters or shin pain which I had in the past as well. He was attentive and didn’t rush me. Wish I could give this experience 10 stars.
Love this place! Decided to buy a pair of sneakers and Paul Pierotti was great to work with. He knew what I wanted and I was sized appropriately and had no idea I had a wide foot! We shared marathon stories and I felt extremely comfortable with him. He wasn't pushy about me purchasing anything. I did purchase my first pair of Hoka Clifton 8 in addition to other fun gadgets. I was the type of person who gets his sneakers at the mall, but when I was interested in a pair of Hokas expensive running shoes which are worth it, Fleet Feet was one of the few places that carried them. Upon entering I was greeted warmly and asked if I wanted a 3D image of my feet. Based on that they would provide a few choices of sneakers. I’m not sure I could go back to the mall after this experience. So FWIW Fleet Feet is a great and totally different experience!
We had julia do our scan and recommend shoes for us. She was knowledgeable, friendly and me and my husband both walked out with very comfortable new shoes! Will be back for our next pair.
The amount of service and attention to detail the staff provides is second to none. Bought 2 pairs of shoes from them that fit really well and look great.
Great in person experience for shoes, terrible online shopping experience. Ordered a Nathan light. Item arrived obviously used with no packaging or instructions how to open it. Promptly broke the light trying to open it to access the batteries. Fingerprints on batteries. :/ I wouldn't trust them ship you an item new, it may be used. Waste of $30. Won't order online again. Great experience in store for running shoes though.
This place was amazing both times I went. I was not rushed, I was given so many options and it was all done with such kindness!! This place is great. Highly recommend.
Outstanding experience today at Fleet Feet Montclair. Today I was helped by a young man who was incredibly knowledgeable, generous with his time and a great listener. I believe his name was Stephen. My entire visit was less than 30 minutes and my feet are rejoicing. Thanks Fleet Feet Montclair. -R
The best running store! The care and support that the owners and staff provide is highly remarkable. I always feel taken care of and get all the supplies I need. They have great training programs too.
Very friendly, very helpful, so knowledgeable. I'm a running beginner so it was great to have such experienced people helping me. I even got invited to their group runs on Thursday evenings. Definitely the only place in shopping for running gear from now on.
