We stopped by for a quick dinner before shopping and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the Firecracker burger which was cooked perfectly. I only wished they had regular fries, but the tater tots and sweet potato fries were really good. The service was excellent! We will be back for sure!Food: 4/5
I am a big fan of Triple D and this was a must visit when I got to Virginia Beach. The BBQ fish taco I had was fire. Could not get enough. Service was impeccable. I had a piece of key lime pie for dessert. The filling was perfect but the crust was a little odd. Was like a floury graham cracker that i didn't care for. Will definitely be back though.
Salmon tacos and sweet potato fries were perfect! Blackened tuna with Caribbean rice were excellent! Cute spot with a great island vibe! Sure to be a great stop! Take back your FREEDOMS and visit this restaurant.
Took my wife for the first time , She got the shrimp tacos and they were good. The shrimp tasted good and the tacos were good. I got the sweet thai chicken wrap and it was also good , little heat but was cut by sweetness of the sauce. Also shared the crab and corn fritters on the appetizer menu , to me and my wife they were fried too dark. They had some almost burned spots on them and also tasted a little burnt in some spots. Asked waitress and She said they had to fry them like that to get inside done. To me and my wife being the type not to like a lot of filler , these had a Lot. The insides that weren't over fried was still a little wushy. They had good flavor though
So we came here because Guy said it was good. Well the recipe must of changed on these bbq fish tacos. They look amazing but honestly no flavor and I don't even know how that is possible by looking at them! We were full for sure but these just didn't hit the mark. Kids plates were good though.
I went here on Saturday, it was absolutely amazing! I had the chicken and shrimp burrito as well as the lobster with mashed potatoes for my entree and the brownie sundae, absolutely delicious!! I can't wait to come back! Conner was our server and he was great!
We decided to give Flip Flops a try. Got there at Happy Hour which turned out to be a good thing. We sat at the bar thinking we would get good service. The Bartender spent more time talking to either his regulars or friends I don’t know which then getting our order or food. The sangrias and margaritas were the best thing we had. Ordered Calamari which took awhile to come and they didn’t seem that busy. It looked very good when it came out. Lightly breaded could see something that looked like seasoning on it. As we all know looks can be deceiving! It was very chewy and had know flavor. For dinner we ordered the Chorizo Burger and the BBQ Fish Tacos. The only flavor my burger had was the Chorizo and Cheese. The burger itself had no flavor and was dry frozen?. With my burger I also ordered the fresh vegetables which were barely cooked, very crunchy should have been on a salad. The BBQ Fish Tacos had good toppings the fish again dry and no flavor on its own. It seemed like a nice local place for Vets like myself to go but I do not think we’re going back.
This place is amazing. I have never been disappointed here. My favorite is the blackened tuna wrap. Highly recommend this place! Parking: It's a shopping center. Tons of parking.
Blackened tuna tacos and bbq fish tacos were so good! Cajun shrimp dip is phenomenal. Great menu. It was hard to decide what we wanted. We will definitely be back! Emily W. is a great server!!Food: 5/5
We went here bc we saw Guy from diners , drive in's and drives, so wanted to check it out. We went on a Saturday night around 6 o'clock. We got in with no wait and were served quickly. We all had pina coladas. Then ordered a Tuna seared salad, their Turkey club and a Beach burger. All was great! As you can see from the pics we started eating and forgot to take the pics lol. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars bc I felt a little rushed out of there, bc they were getting crowded. But overall, great place to check out.
