The vibe was great! Love the atrium room, felt cozy and secured. The instructors were fantastic! Absolutely love them and loved who I was in the moment. Will be back. Thank you!
I had a great experience using the infrared sauna at Floating Lotus! I’ve used regular saunas at the gym but this type is supposed to be better though these are compact for one person whereas the gym saunas have plenty of room to spread out. The receptionist was very informative, friendly, and happy to answer all of my questions. The 30 minute session cost $45. The sauna room included a nice standing shower and sink with soaps, shampoo, towels etc. and they give you 30 minutes or so after the sauna to take a shower and chill in the room. The heat was set to 140 degrees and adjustable, not too hot and it felt therapeutic to sweat out for 30 minutes. The facility itself is a great wellness space - they have a bunch of other services. It’s conveniently located off of Columbus Circle. Always looking for a new personal care and wellness service and this worked out great!
Wow...what a great experience with the noise deprivation wet pool! Trully you leave feeling renewed. I highly recommend to do 90 mins instead of 60. Cannot wait for their upcoming therapies.
Really enjoyed my yoga class - very relaxing, terrific instructor, and a really special space with the atrium and deck. I look forward to coming back for more yoga and meditation
Went there yesterday for the floatation for the first time. The receptionist was extremely nice. The overall vibe is great. The floating tank was fine as well. The reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because of their issues with lights. I finished floating, exited the tank as soon as I’ve been told to, and started taking the shower. In less than 2 minutes the lights went off. It went pitch black. I figured it could be motion activating. So I waved hands, clapped, nothing happened. I called the front desk and she told me to look for the light switch. There weren’t any light switches. So, I didn’t finish showering properly, couldn’t put any lotion or anything like that. Had to use my phone flash light to dress up. Don’t think gonna be coming back for floatation to this location.
Amazing space and instructor! The Yoga classes was held on the penthouse of the building under a glass ceiling, so we had the company of the sun or rain, which really gave the class a "zen" feeling. The instructor was encouraging, knowledgable, and very attentive to each student's poses. The classes I've taken had been such amazing experiences.
I very much enjoyed the yoga and stretch class. The instructor I think her name was Michiko was very knowledgeable and gave helpful instructions. The atrium space is very relaxing, and I love that the studio provides mats with alignment info. I wish there was a shower to use. I took this class during their free trial period.
I went for the float tank. The facility was beautiful and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful during the walk through. Although I deducted a star for having to call to make an appointment, I was informed that online booking will be coming soon. I look forward to trying more of the treatments.
I had a wonderful visit at FloLo - doing both the dry bed flotation as well as an acupuncture session. The staff was welcoming, the space was cozy and inviting and the practitioners are caring and well versed in their craft. I will definitely be returning for follow up visits and highly recommend giving FloLo a try if you’re looking for some self care, relaxation or healing.
Flolo Holistic stands out because as the name states, it is a holistic facility that provides comprehensive services for whatever your mind, body and soul need. They have doctors and nurses on staff, this is a significant differentiator that allows them to provide way more than a spa experience. The owner is friendly, approachable and passionate about what they do. They have a wonderful vision for the future.
