We had a WONDERFUL time here! We came as a school group on a weekend; there was an allotted amount of time for us to all skate together in a private skate. When I was leaving, I mentioned that I really wanted to leave a review to show the excellent beginner skating sleds to help with all the kiddos. The group we were there with was a preschool group. My daughter being in the oldest group as far as kiddos go 5 + sister 6. This was their very first time skating. I do think we could've been there for longer than an hour so maybe next time a lot a little bit more time for these age kiddos. However, the sleds were perfect! The perfect amount of support, mixed with the perfect amount of freedom. They were remarkably better by the end of the hour session we had there. Also the staff was awesome. And PLENTY of those sleds which if you can't already tell, I was worried about!
Flynn Rink is a great place for ice skating. They have skates for rentals if you do not already own your own. They have two rinks, a big one and a much smaller one where beginners can skate without getting overwhelmed. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I would like more public skating days but other than that it is excellent and the staff are friendly.
Hey, it’s a great skating rink. It has been for decades the ice is great. The facility is in good shape. What more can you ask for? Great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon or Saturday evening! Ice-skating is great exercise take it from an old guy.
the owner needs to learn to pick up after themselves. trash was left everywhere on the beach.
3.5 Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Full ice and mini ice. Seating is scarce. Bathroom clean. Photography would be through plexiglass. Management requires the use of locker rooms but no uses during lessons or private ice, so lobby gets busy. Management or staff is impossible to find. We've never played a game here, just private lessons and camps. The mini ice is perfect rental for this as well. Vending machines only.
We enrolled three of ice skate classes before Covid and we still have unused credit since the place shut down by state last year. This winter we planning to enroll again and asked if we could have unused credit back, the lady told me the credit was expired. I was shocked and back and forth to ask the refund. It took me 5 weeks she finally told her boss will send me the refund check. But I wait for 3 weeks and sent email but nothing get back to me.
Great ice for public skate. Love how they usually have the mini rink set up to shoot around if you bring gear.
Flynn Rink is fantastic place to ice skate they. Have 1 big rink and one small one for begginers. It does get crowded here sometimes especially if schools or local communities having games otherwise you can come any time to exercice. It is good for families, kids i always see here. Nice place with small cafeteria , big parking lot and 5 min from boston.
Great place for novices and experienced skaters. I like that they have crates to help new skaters to find their balance. The separate skating rinks it's a big plus.
Nice family environment during public skate times. Good for all skill levels
