Foliage Paradise

This place has an excellent and wide variety of plants, from cactus, to succulents, to orchids to big leafy figs and banana plants. The staff was quick to offer help in choosing a plant and very knowledgeable. I felt that they were truly concerned that we got the best plant for what we wanted. At one point, I pointed to a plant, and the staff member told me, that one isn’t healthy, you shouldn’t pick it. I appreciated that a lot. We ended up choosing a beautiful big fiddle leaf, and they delivered it the next day. It arrived carefully wrapped in brown paper and with the friendliest delivery man, who brought it right up to our front door. Fast, knowledgeable, excellent. Beat our previous plant shopping experience at Home Depot by 1000%.

When you walk into the store you forget you are in NYC. Great choice of indoor and outdoor plants. Unlike Home Depot, they know what they are talking about and the quality of the plants is amazing as well. Got same day delivery more like same hour delivery. The J.C Compacta and Ficus plant I bought are a gorgeous addition to my apartment. Slightly on the expensive side but the plants are all healthy

The magnificent trees I've bought from them enable me to transform my little apartment into a magical jungle hut, and they've helped me every step of the way, to continue to learn how to keep them alive and healthy. I recommend them, especially AMBI ;- without reservation, for every kind of plant purchase, small or great!

Do not go here. I bought plants all over flower district and the two plants I got here came with mealybug infestations. It was undoubtedly from them. I had quarantined the plants and they were never watered while with me. It happened 2 weeks after I purchased them. I followed up twice email and called them and was ignored each time. Not only do they sell infested plants but they are also horrible to their customers. Not getting a refund is terrible but flat out ignoring me? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Purchased a lovely 4 ft tall fiddle leaf fig at a great price. Within a week of bringing it home, it has lost ten leaves. I had two fiddles back home before I moved, and think I have a pretty good idea on how to handle them in terms of light, water, humidity, etc. Very disappointed, as it seemed like a really beautiful tree. I might have just been unlucky- they have a great and expansive selection at good prices. Update: there are only five leaves left on a plant that previously had at least 20. I’ve had fiddles for years and understand their care, I haven’t had this kind of drastic problem before.

This place is amazing! They have such a large selection, are very helpful in helping you select, and the best part is they are full service and will help pack up your plant and even helped me get it into my car. The offer flat rate delivery to Manhattan and west Brooklyn too. I’m coming back tomorrow!

Loved this place. Happy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about plants. Helped me pick out orchids and succulents and graciously repotted them for me I had just bought my own pots and the results were incredible. Highly recommend.

A decent plant shop. The plants are healthy and the shop is well stocked. The staff was helpful.Prices all I can say is have an idea of how much the plant you want cost .

A very expensive mistake shopping here. We went and spent over two thousand dollars on 4 large plants and 3 smaller hung plants for our office. Of the four large ones, two died within 4-5 days. When we called to discuss, we were told we watered them wrong, and that they might come back to life. We waited another week or two hoping for some new growth. Nothing. We called again in hopes for some sympathy replacing one, or a discount on future plants, something and Billy said "how is this my fault?" Boooooo. Poor inventory + uninventive customer service.
