Volunteers can choose to come for all the activities or just a portion of the work, they are most needed around 9:30 to drive a delivery route. Volunteers start at 9:00 by helping pack up boxes with food items. Then starting around 9:30, we begin loading the boxes into volunteers’ cars. Even if you do not have a car to drive, you can volunteer to go out with a driver to help them navigate and carry boxes. A typical delivery route consists of 5-8 boxes and is geographically clustered to reduce the time needed to complete the deliveries. Most volunteers are done by 11:00am.
