Story

Kristina Hwang (formally at Forbidden City) and her husband will open in may 2013 the new "Forbidden Palace" Chinese Restaurant and Bistro in the former Smackwater Jacks location at Princess Anne Plaza

Forbidden Palace is a true fine dining experience. You know once you enter that you've come to the right place. Whether your just looking for an evening out or you want to impress an important guest, Forbidden Palace will make your dining experience special. We take time to prepare each meal individually, you won't find Buffet food here. We have a complete bar, special wines, and domestic and imported beers. We also offer banquet facilities daily that can accommodate up to 12 people. On special requests we can make arrangements to accommodate your group. The next time you need to host a reception, rehearsal dinner, retirement/farewell party, or any other special gathering call us to make your event memorable.We are conveniently located in Virginia Beach in between the Sam's Club and Harris Teeters. We have additional parking and an additional entrance in the rear of the restaurant.
