Fort Crowder Shooting Range

Great place to go shooting. The range is free and targets are provided. They do this as a service to the public, but it is asked that you clean up after yourself and don't leave trash behind. We had a great time here and met some of the nicest people! It also wasn't very crowded when we went which was in July 2017.

4 separate ranges. Nice set up. Open from dawn till dusk.

The ranges are nice but we witnessed some very dangerous firearm handling over at the short distance/pistol range. It was so bad that we quickly packed up and left. If you can find a time when it is not busy it might be okay.

Clean and generally well maintained. Relatively new rubber on the target posts last time I was there. 25, 50, and 100 yard ranges with 4 bays each. also a shotgun area and privy bathroom. Closed on Mondays. It is the only free range in the area and so it fills up quickly and often. recommended but don't be surprised if you have to wait a while for your "turn." Other shooters, however are generally nice and will let you "work in."
